As Regionals closes out (and State tournament begins), I just wanted to give another Thank You to the editorial staff of this thread for the weekly rankings - and more importantly enjoyable analysis - put out each week. Definitely recognize how much effort it must have taken each week and wanted to express appreciation. Was great to kick around public school HS lacrosse in such a level headed type forum. Made the season more interesting and developed appreciation for other 6A/B/C/D teams that may not have had.

Well done and sincere thanks - and look forward to either Season Wrap-up/Final Rankings OR Week 1 Unofficial Rankings for Spring 2023!

Madison 10 West Po 9 (OT). Madison down 8-5 mid-way through fourth quarter - 4 unanswered to take lead 9-8, WestPo ties up 9-9 with couple mins to go. WestPo won faceoff in OT, couldn't get decent shot, turned it over, Madison timeout, then man-up due to slashing penalty and game winner. Great game, well played by both teams.

Like someone previously said, unless there’s a health issue like a Covid outbreak, you should play, even if you’re not expected to win and it’s a hike. Respect the game.

The WestPo freshman really brought some necessary energy to the team. Great game.

Agreed! They have some freshman who can play! #25 is one of the best athletes/ fastest kids in the region already

Yorktown v. Madison Round 3 tomorrow.

Both should be great games. Still holding on to my Patriot/Yorktown final prediction.
