| Sis will be down Dec 17-22. Maybe that is the upload window. |
|
How did you know SIS will be down Dec 17 to 22?
Deadline is Dec 15 and scores will be uploaded by Dec 17-22. I don’t have any hope of getting them before the holidays. |
| It says so on the sis website at the bottom on the sign in page |
| Schools have the scores. They will not release them until winter break. |
| Did any other schools than OP’s give out the cogat scores? Ours is in McLean, FCPS and didn’t give out yet. |
The thing at the bottom of SIS says that's for system updates. Usually when they have an outage to upload things (like report cards), it says so. |
Why? That doesn't make any sense. |
|
^^^^
I should add there was no outage for SOL scores or NNAT scores last year, so why should there be an outage for CoGAT? Shouldn't be different. The outage means nothing in relation to the dates. |
| It would also be weird because the letter for in pool kids includes a parent form. |
In that case, just put in a FERPA request for the scores |
The one for my oldest kid definitely did not. |
Yes, I thought the form came with the actual acceptance letter in the spring. When my oldest was in 2nd grade, all scores were sent in the mail, and in-pool kids also received a letter saying that they would be evaluated for AAP. |
It’s discussed earlier in this thread. The schools don’t want to deal with parent questions about the CogAT scores so they don’t send them until the break. They also don’t want people to try and get a WISC before the referral is due if they don’t think the CogAT scores were good enough. |
| Dec 15 is the referral deadline. When will they announce the pool? My child got above 132 in NNAT. Does that mean he is in pool? |
They will send in-pool letters but not announce pool scores since it can differ by school now (this is per our AART). That said, the pool is the lowest of the school-based pool OR the county-wide pool. Above 132 on NNAT likely means in-pool. |
