Not only did Trump not get $5.7B, but he also didn't get the $1.7B that was in the proposed budget. At the moment, the number is closer to a pro-rated $1B.

I was at a gathering of people who are mostly in their 70s and 80s last night, and some of them were telling me that this is the worst period of American society they think they've ever seen. They hate Trump. At least this group.
