It’s hard to beat a team twice. Didn’t Oakton beat Cville TWICE? Regardless of score or how close game was a win is a win. Stop disrespecting Oakton and have some class.

Oakton has won 8 districts, 5 regions, and 4 State Championships in girl's lacrosse. I'm a Madison fan, but can recognize that they are a powerhouse program.

Totally mystified by all the Centerville should have won stuff; or even all of the Centerville talk. Decent team with some great players who play hard. 4th best team in their own District. Lost all their big games. So, not that interesting.

Oakton on the other hand is undefeated. Clearly the best resume in the state this year. And they will have had an incredible season even if they don't win the State Championship. I have seen them play twice and they are a great team, with some outstanding players, and they deserve their success and a lot more respect on these boards at this point...

Amen brother/sister. I have seen them play 4 times as my team didn’t schedule enough games like other programs. If they get the lead very tough to beat. We played club VA Metro with with a lot of these 6A girls who are very successful… Langley Robinson blah blah blah. All outstanding young ladies. Give Oakton props but a lot of work left. If you don’t play a full game against them you will get beat. Period.

I think the Centreville team understands that Oakton is a good team, but also a beatable team. Isnt that what competition is about? Fight to be the best at all cost? And yes, you did point out that they beat a good team twice. Which most people on here dont agree

I think it is funny that parents just want to bash each other’s programs on here. I enjoyed the good old days when people wagered on games and competition.

It seems like all the bashing BS is aimed towards Oakton. I briefly saw a couple of posts, before they were apparently removed, that were 100 percent made up stuff. Probably a feeble attempt to sow division. I guess success breeds contempt among some wickedly insecure parents.
