Harris vs Trump poll numbers

It might be a smart decision
Letting her talk without a script might result in even greater damage than the criticism she's getting for not doing an interview.

I hope you or your DD or sister never needs one. But, if they do, I'm sure you'll just go to a blue state. Thank goodness for blue states, right?

So you’re voting for an issue that only affects women? Talk about #selfish

My healthcare affects my whole family.

Why didn’t you abort them then?

What the fu&@? What is wrong with you?

Well, the PP seems to post nonstop that abortion is the answer to everything and we should all be voting for her access to abortions.

Huh?

We had the protections of roe for 50 years. The earth continued to spin and in fact, there were less abortions with roe in place then there are now that it is destroyed.

Eventually the protections of roe will be back in place as they should be.

You can't have an adult conversation about abortion law with people who just want to scream "baby-killer" or "forced-birther" to everyone they presume to be on the other side of the issue. They're all idiots.

This is not an issue with a lot of middle ground. Pro choice voters need to get our in great force to fight hard for the laws to reflect women's rights. This is the current intense battle in a long war and yes, abortion bans do try to force women to give birth.

Speaking of polls, the majority of Americans now support a border wall. So not surprising really she came around on this

Too late.

Trump no longer chants build the wall. He interfered with the immigration bill.

Fight hard for what specific laws? Are you just a rabble rouser with no specific knowledge of what abortion laws are now relative to what they were under Roe or are you capable of having an adult conversation about what those laws should be?

Control the presidency to control SCOTUS appointments for as long as it takes and try to codify the protections of Roe.

Meh. The media made its bed. It decided to go after the bottom line and focus on clicks. I’ve largely abandoned u.s. news sources because they are so shallow.

When Harris went over to talk to “journalists” at one of her campaign stops all they wanted to know was her opinion on something Trump did or said.

So you're saying you believe abortion should be legal and accessible up until the point of fetal viability (23 to 25 weeks) with exceptions granted for late term abortions in special cases? If this is the case, I agree with you and I believe we can both be considered pro-choice.

+1

Right now, millions of American women have had their rights stripped away.

We will not stop until it's codified.

Exceptions defined by the medical community. Not religious zeolots who don't understand basic biology.

What you may not realize about Harris seeing her alone is that she’s 5’4’’. Average for a woman, but a foot shorter than Trump. And he almost certainly weights twice what she does. And when he debated HRC, he was hulking over her in a very weird way. Visually, he would overpower her. Reality of a slender, average height female vs an obese tall man. And Trump needs to cut out the he-man dominating with size crap anyway. Although it worked against him with HRC— it was distracting and weird. That’s why she wants a chair. And if you actually think he will out debate her, you should want people focused substance and not the visual size disparity.

As for notes, does she want to bring notes onto the stage, or be able to take notes to rebut? Notes for opening remarks, or a huge binder? I actually don’t see an issue. If she’s flipping through paper to find pre-written answers, or is stopping to find answers, that looks really bad for her. So what is the exact ask? Trump rambles, so I can see wanting a blank sheet of paper to make notes as he goes all over the place stream of conscious. If she needs more than that, everyone will see it and decide for themselves what it means. Can’t image extensive notes help her— in fact, they likely hurt her.
