Harris vs Trump poll numbers

Why does anyone care about national polls and why bother doing them and reporting on them? Am I missing something important there? I only pay attention to the swing state polls.

Not a chance Pa is voting for her.

Other than it's a blue state.

I can't imagine Trump's ego will allow him to run against any woman like Kamala Harris. HRC was different to run against. Trump's dropping out. He just wanted to make sure his followers still worship him.

You should watch Steve Kornacki on MSNBC. He's bringing liberals back to reality.

So far, Harris is up:

Interesting..if you take a look at the timeline, Harris was down across the board initially, but as of yesterday, she's up in some of the polls. She also is polling better than Biden did last week.

She has the momentum.

Nope not fully blue yet. Pennsylvania is generally considered a battleground state. Donald Trump won the state by 0.7%. In 2020, Joe Biden won by 1.2%. Total toss up.

She polls terrible there:

Not a chance they will vote for her. I'd bet money on it.

It has two Dem senators, 9/17 Reps are Dem, a Dem gov who won in a landslide and in the last 36 years it's gone red in a presidential election just once.

It's blue.

I still think it's too early to worry

At a minimum we need the VP pick.

I am concerned about the undecided.
.
I fear it's code for going to stay home

They have, at best, two days of polling data? Monday and Tuesday?

Why do I have a hard time taking this information seriously?

Because Rasmussen is a total joke and Trump’s favorite pollster.

Well yes because Kamala wants to shut fracking down. Of course she polls terribly there.
