They should have reseeded after the games Friday. Dumb to have Landon play Prep for the fourth time and DeMatha play SJ for the third time.

Sj played DeMatha once. What’s dumb is complaining about something that was set up prior to games being played. Some just want it their way at all times.

Would have laid out exactly how you would like if the higher seed actually won their game.

would like to see SJC play Landon in the semis, but if you reseeded now, you'd get: 1. SJC; 2. Prep; 3. Landon; 4. DM.

which is what we now have.

Neutral Observer here:

I was a bit surprised about the seedings to begin with. Given SJC beat GP at the Geico Nationals, I thought SJC would have been the #1 seed (maybe the tournament seeds came out prior to Geico tourney) Overall though, GP has had more quality wins than SJC this Spring as the IAC actually had a season and played several league games. I was also surprised PVI was a #4 seed given they lost to EHS in the VISSA finals and Landon wasn't even seeded.

I too would have liked to have seen SJC play Landon since they have yet to play one another this Spring and this is the 4x time the Bears and Lil Hoyas will be playing one another. On the contrary, you could also argue that Landon is dodging a bullet by not having to play SJC in the semi-finals as I stated above, SJC could have been the #1 seed in theory based on their performance in the Geico event.

I'm shocked Bullis fell off so dramatically as I really thought this would have been their year given the senior talent they had on the roster.

For the Gonzaga boosters... have the Purple Eagles fallen off this quickly?

I know its a covid year but the game on Friday was a total a beat down by Prep, the game wasn’t even remarkably close.

They wouldn't have won the WCAC last year either. Their pipeline has definitely taken a hit and the Covid cancellation of '20 makes the drop off seem more sudden. DeMatha improvement is good to see as the WCAC can maybe have 6 solid programs if Heights and GC can keep improving. Seemed like it was only a 3 team league before.

Seeding probably had to be done before Geico, because the first-round games were on campuses, and scheduling has to go around graduations and such.

Sure, it'd be nice to see SJC/Landon and Prep/DeMatha because those are new matchups this year, but I think we'll all take having this event in such a disrupted year.

And having a Landon-Prep game on a college campus where student sections will be allowed to come is something both schools will appreciate.
