Landon pulls off the upset tomorrow. Hard to beat a good team 4x in a season.

SJC game will be closer than when they played weeks ago but think SJC will win.

Prep and Landon did have a one goal game in one of the games. I expect it to be close with Landon upset.

They are not a good team.

I was a bit surprised about the seedings to begin with. Given SJC beat GP at the Geico Nationals, I thought SJC would have been the #1 seed (maybe the tournament seeds came out prior to Geico tourney) Overall though, GP has had more quality wins than SJC this Spring as the IAC actually had a season and played several league games. I was also surprised PVI was a #4 seed given they lost to EHS in the VISSA finals and Landon wasn't even seeded.

I too would have liked to have seen SJC play Landon since they have yet to play one another this Spring and this is the 4x time the Bears and Lil Hoyas will be playing one another. On the contrary, you could also argue that Landon is dodging a bullet by not having to play SJC in the semi-finals as I stated above, SJC could have been the #1 seed in theory based on their performance in the Geico event.

I'm shocked Bullis fell off so dramatically as I really thought this would have been their year given the senior talent they had on the roster.

Seeding probably had to be done before Geico, because the first-round games were on campuses, and scheduling has to go around graduations and such.

Sure, it'd be nice to see SJC/Landon and Prep/DeMatha because those are new matchups this year, but I think we'll all take having this event in such a disrupted year.

And having a Landon-Prep game on a college campus where student sections will be allowed to come is something both schools will appreciate.

Who will have the best “boy chant”? Hope they come up with something new. Heard someone ask a player that was wearing 99 if he was Paul Rabil. Played out.

The one thing Gonzaga won this year was the “boy chant” competition.

"Earned ... not given."
"Welcome to the real world."
"God is purple."

Not - Bullis worked Spalding, St. John’s worked BL, Gonzaga worked St. Mary’s prior to league play.

Maybe we will see some of these matchups at NHSLS.

If you were combine the top 4 from the WCAC with the 6 teams in the IAC to create some type of DC Champions league, I'd argue that the DC league would be better than the MIAA.

Not a Prep supporter by any means, but they could run with any team from the MIAA this Spring. Whether or not you like SJC, the way their athletic department and administration operate, the Cadet's will remain a HS lacrosse power at the National stage for the years to come. (move over Gonzaga fans)

And please, lets not take scrimmages into account here or Fall Ball or Summer Ball results from the NHSLS.

NHSLS some teams play Seniors some do not. Hard to compare. But, people were surprised last year by SJC success at this event. I think it did matter and was an indicator of how they would be in the future. It is not totally meaningless and after this week all we will have until Spring

Scrimmages shouldn’t really count but when someone states that the MIAA is so much better and those are the only bodies of work this year, then they have to be used to refute the claim.

You guys are still sleeping on Yorktown. Undefeated is all you can do regardless of who they put you up against. I know you all love privates but this public would make heads turn.

Did they sign up for NHSLS white division yet?
