^^ also, great win by Potomac today. They really earned it! |
I second this- the Potomac students did bring their A game support wise but nothing crazy. Our saints girls just couldn't control the ball on their side and I think those boys played a big part in that. |
Saints parents complaining about the refs did not help. Their girls needed to hustle and play better lacrosse. They got soundly beaten. |
You think so? I thought it was classless of them to parade around on the field afterwards. |
I think it was great they had the school spirit to travel with them. Big win for Potomac. |
Parade around? Please describe. |
Saints parents are sooo soft. It’s teenage kids celebrating. Get over yourselves |
I was at the game, the Potomac students were completely fine. They did go on the field after the game, but think about it from their perspective. It was a big win for the Potomac girls, and I saw no problem with them cheering on Potomac. |
I wonder why the Saints haven’t been able to get the same support from their fellow students for their team. |
Todays loss and the following forum responses lead me to believe there is some sort of culture problem at SSAS. It's not just on the girls but coaches pressure, lack of school spirit/pride, and non stop complaints are all pieces to the puzzle I think. |
There are people commenting on here that weren't at the game making stuff up, and some of them are high school students, so don’t believe everything you’re reading on here. Most of the Saints' parents/players know the Potomac parents/players; we play on club team together, very respected. The Saints definitely did not bring their A game today. The Saints coaching definitely made some questionable decisions with matchups in the SR and Potomac games that makes many parents who know all these players capabilities after watching them for a decade in club scatch their head. I never could figure out why keep the same draw taker if not winning draws. I mean after you lose 5 to 10 draws common sense coaching should probably give somebody else a chance because at that point you have nothing to lose. Saints definitely have other players who can take the draw. They should probably be rotating in three girls when they’re playing easier teams on the draw so those girls have game time experience so when needed they are ready. Lose the draw 15-20 times high probability lose the game. Congrats Potomac! No one has a problem with Potomac celebrating their win. The Saints would’ve been celebrating if they won. |
Saints beat Potomac and Stoneridge in the regular season. It’s just one game but happened to be super important games end of the season. Looking forward to next year! All 4 teams played great throughout the season and all lost some games! No one was undefeated. |
Is the ISL All league stuff posted yet? I saw SR announced it. Does anyone have a link for who got All ISL for the various schools? |
LOL! |
This. Saints have been using the same players for the past three years plus or minus maybe a couple each year. Nothing has really changed. Will they do the same thing a fourth year in a row? |
