The doorknob seems consistent. Mayyyybe the walls are questionable but that's an easy continuity error depending on the set. And when he asked "where is..." and the answer is "already in there"...remember that this scene is from when we didn't even know Rebecca was in the room, so they were holding back on even the fact that Nicky was there.

I'm all for a conspiracy theory but no matter how many times I watch it I can't see it another way.

+1 for me. I see young Randall in a hospital room saying hi to Mom, and old Randall in the cabin(? - I'm assuming it is) saying hi to his dying Mom.

Same!

Two flash forwards

Flash forward 1: season 3 ep18
I see Randall with a lot of gray hair when he greets Toby and in the kitchen, get up and head to the bedroom. I then see a flashback with young Randall in the hospital. Back at the cabin, when he tells Rebecca he’s there I see no gray hair.

Flash forward 2: season 4 ep18

Kevin walks in, Randall, no gray hair and Rebecca in the background.

If the writers were reading this they'd be rolling their eyes so hard at this, and the fact that the gray hair was picked up slightly more in some shots than others because of the lighting.

I don’t think it’s the lighting or an accident.

This is what is bothering me. WHERE ARE THEY?!?!

I read a comment and someone mentioned that they read the girls couldn’t be on the show because since the wedding is 5 years in the future they couldn’t have themselves play their future selves or couldn’t have the adult versions play that age either.

So why were Jack and Hailey there?

Because the show already cast kids to play them at that time in the future because of the previous Kate and Toby episodes.

was Kevin impersonating with the “marriage” speech?

This is all next level analysis!

Not a fan of the Kevin and Sophie story line, but I thought it was handled fine. I am surprised people cried, though, and I cry at anything.

Are any of you who cried at this episode Kevin and Sophie shippers from the start? Is that what it takes?

I cried and I was Team Madison. But there was something comforting about the moment they kissed at the end (before the clapping) that was nice. Maybe we all just need comfortable right now.

It's a shame that so much of the discussion of these last episodes has revolved around predicting how it all ends, instead of analysis of the characters and their choices, but that's what the show is offering us now. Entertaining but kind of shallow. I hope the rest is better, meatier.

I thought that might be the case. But I feel like TIU has "aged" every other character so well that they could have made it work, even if they were just in the background.

No, this excuse doesn't fly for the girls, at least Tess and Deja - they have already been used in fast-forward sequences at the cabin. The current actresses definitely could have been at the wedding. The only one who might not have worked age-wise was Annie, and they could have come up with some excuse for why she was absent.

Honestly, it was just lazy writing to not at least mention them at the wedding.

Can you stop with this please? You are ruining this thread for the rest of us, just so you can maybe feel smart later. (And I don't think your theory is going to pay out, for the record.)
