Brown has already said he’s done with Randall. Wants to do new characters.

I didn’t know Hartley and Metz when the series began, but I had just watched Brown knock it out of the park as Chris Darden on the OJ show. I knew he was an exceptional actor with undeniable charisma. Can’t wait to see what he does next.

you don't know Adam Newman?! do you even know who Victor is?!

I have just now looked it up. I was a GH fan for over 20 years, but I never watched any other soaps!

Atfter the underwhelming last episode, I was pretty much done with the show. But I just came across this tribute on YouTube and it reminds me how when This Is Us was good, it was a really great show.

Holy cow, I cried all the way through that. Thanks for posting, PP. I felt the same as you did.

And Mandy Moore-- there are no words.

In addition to Mandy Moore, two things really stuck out in that tribute:

First, as we've all commented before, the casting across ages was remarkable. It's one thing to see it in full episodes, where each episode usually only has one other age plus the current one, but this tribute with scenes from different ages tumbling one after another, so seamlessly, is amazing.

Second, for all of our nitpicking over this and that, I don't recall a single post that criticized the acting. Watching this tribute made me realize that there was never a false note by any of the actors.

Both of those things together made this tribute feel more like watching a home movie than a TV show.

Plus Mandy Moore just announced she is pregnant with kid number two. She apparently filmed the final episodes while pregnant but didn’t tell anyone.

Love this! Very relatable, but I also felt she was not a nice daughter to her mom or his mom. Regardless she was still her mother. Never shows or mentions what happened to them, like they did not matter. Jack never saw his mom the whole 13 yrs before her death. Knew nothing about her life, cat, boyfriend, anything either? That is bothersome. They were mothers also.

Kevin was the hero in the end.
Her daughter just wanted to put in a home,
Not surprising since she saw how she treated her Grandmother.
Kevin was great, loved him.

Good grief, lady.

You're the 72 yr old from the thread on the Golden Bach who likes to post in poetry-form. Did you just wake up from 2022? No one is talking about "This Is Us" anymore. You missed it.

It's found a new audience on Netflix. I miss it.

I just finished watching on Netflix. I’d never even heard of this show before a few months ago.

It was a great watch I was in tears more often than I care to admit.
