My child will be at an unmasked indoor event in FL in fall. I sure as hell wouldn't want him around a kid in school has done the same. We'll follow the regulations, even if that means missing school sadly.

I think the vast majority of people who will keep their travel quiet aren’t going to unmasked events in Florida. They are visiting grandma in Pennsylvania, or going to the beach in Delaware. I would hope that most people who are actually doing something risky would abide by the policies. Who wants their kid to be the one that brings Covid into the school?

Well I'm also going to opt out of testing for my kid, so we'll never know if it was my kid!

Who said it’s only leisure travel? You have no idea what people sacrificed this past 17 months. They are done sacrificing. Not every trip is leisure. Many people need to travel for funerals, ailing family members, family crises, etc. And now if you want to travel to Delaware to say good bye to an ailing family member you have to quarantine. But your child’s classmate who went to a beach house in Maryland doesn’t have to. But as a good citizen I’m sure you will say ‘you don’t have to say goodbye to the family member, you are selfish and will bring COVID to school and kill another kid.’
