On the Siobhan documentary, yes it’s a nice narrative device.
But the show made a point of dropping a clue/red herring: “he wasn’t getting along with Carrie then. Was he alone?” Also dropped the fact that he disappeared a month before he died. ---- Who said that? |
| Anyone think that Billy killed Erin to protect John? |
I think John is the dad. Did they say how Erin died in a press conference? Dylan said she was shot in the face. Wonder if that was public. |
But obviously all signs point to Billy as the killer. |
I’m with you! Why was billy so pissed at John when he was moving into their dad’s place after getting kicked out for another affair. I think he says “clean up you own shit” or something like that. |
Yeah I wonder if John is actually the murderer, and Billy helped him dispose of the body, and that’s why he was bloody? He’s taking the blame to help John since John has so much more to lose (wife, kid, etc). Their scenes together were sketchy, lots of missing information! |
Unfortunately the only options left have to do with the more boring, underdeveloped characters. |
I think that John’s son knew about him and Erin and when he swore him to secrecy it was more about not saying anything about Erin than the affair itself. When his mom asked him whether his dad was having an affair, I don’t think the son said who it was; everyone assumed that it was the same woman from before. I can’t quite figure out all the burning of the journals, etc. Maybe John was paying the hooligans a large sum of money to get rid of evidence? |
| What about the necklace with a date in 2017? What does that represent? |
When Bill first raped Erin? |
| I think John is the father and Lori (his wife) found out and killed Erin. She called Billy to help her dispose of body. Billy is protecting her. |
It was a memento from the family reunion, presumably when Erin and one of the Ross brothers first had sex. |
| So what’s the deal with Dylan acting so suspicious? Maybe he wants to cover up the paternity so that he and his parents can keep the baby? |
| As disgusting as Dylan is, pretty reprehensible of Erin to saddle him with an unwanted child who wasn’t even his! |
Oooh. I like this. |
