(Which, by the way, Americans are so incredibly manipulable when it comes to foreign policy and immigration.) |
| Customs and Boarder Patrol won't accept donations of soap and toothbrushes. Shameful. |
As they shouldn't. They have no way to clear them to ensure they're safe. All they need is someone sending bad toothpaste or something that wasn't packaged properly and got infected for it to spread around and people get sick. They would get blamed for it as they're already blamed for merely doing their jobs. |
spot on |
Yes, the are following the instructions of the White House. That is how it started in Germany, too. |
no valid arguments to defend your baseless rhetoric so it's the insults. Common issue with liberals and why no one takes them seriously. I'm more concerned they were brought here by illegal means and faced such a bad inhumane trek that was brought on them by their parents or the kids were sold or kidnapped and used to get into the country. That's worse. But you won't blame the people responsible because it doesn't fit your narrative. They're in the conditions they're in because of the illegal aliens, not the CPB. |
In a happy, healthy home, where parents are involved, removing lice is a nightmare. It becomes a FT job in itself. Imagine how much more difficult it is for BPs to handle. So no, none of us would be happy if our children received that treatment. However, we are not sending our children to other countries (unattended in some cases). And this Atticus Finch wisdom of ". . . climb[ing] into someone's skin and walk[ing] around in it" applies to BPs, too, as I don't think many of you would last a day walking around in THEIR skin. So you can scream in some self-righteous manner all you want. But it's easier to judge when you're sitting on your couch and watching this on television. |
+1 No child should be in those conditions. Some day our grandkids will be going to the Migrant Museum and wondering why citizens today didn't rise up and protect children when they had the chance. |
Aren't you tired of using Godwin's Law? It's been around since the 90s. Maybe you can use some REAL evidence instead. |
in London? I don't plan on visiting in the future. |
There is a simple solution: close the loopholes and send them home. |
+1,000,000 I'll say it again: if your justification for government-sanctioned child abuse is that they crossed a line on a map, on rock floating in infinite space, you are failing as a human being. You just are. |

re-posted b/c of formatting: I'd say there's "government-sanctioned" child abuse in foster care situations and in juvenile detention centers. Where's the uproar? Most of the kids in juvie are black - and interestingly enough - Native American males. The majority of the kids in foster care are white, however, but black kids are second. Again, where's the uproar? |
| It would literally be cheaper putting all these kids up at a Hilton. |
