I couldn't agree any more. Then, these people arrive at their final destination and the Sanctuary city police force has announced they support those criminals with deportation papers. Now, I'd like to see you try that if you were a citizen with an arrest warrant.

I don't want to support my locations law-breaking leaders but, laws are subjective now apparently.

Yup, welcome to the Trump administration. Where every law and norm no longer means anything and people don't care.

It just means we're like the rest of the world now, where "Big men" rule, and people do whatever they can get away with.

How many people realize that this attorney was arguing a case brought as a result of conditions from 2015, during the Obama Administration, when these comments were made?

I haven't given up hope yet, support our LEOs, public oversight, and believe in this experiment called the United States of America.

No, that only happens in some third world countries and kleptocracies. Our "peer" countries are all still democracies (not inflicted with "big man" rule). But hey who wants to be like Norway and Japan when we can emulate Zaire and Russia instead!

I am a Spanish speaking teacher on summer vacation. I have been teaching for almost 30 years and love caring for children. I could take care of a couple of these children for a lot less than $700 a day. I am an empty nester now and have room in my house. This news is killing me. What kind of country do I live in? Please ask teachers who are on summer break and I would bet you would get some really, really good people helping out. For the love of God . . .

Over the years, lawyers acting on behalf of minors protected by the Flores Agreement have filed numerous motions asking judges to enforce it, claiming that the government has fallen short of its obligations. They filed the motion now at issue in 2016, during the Obama administration, arguing that ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) and CBP (Customs and Border Protection) were violating the Flores Agreement by, among other things, confining minors in facilities that are not “safe and sanitary.”

Yes. Whatever she was specifically arguing, Flores applies now, today, to the children and families that we are holding in concentration camps.

Quit that. Career DOJ attorneys are not the enemy and shouldn't be expected to quit because you think they should.
