More defections from DA to ECNL

The conferences would have to change... like ecnl.

Actually historically Maryland and Ohio were in the same conference with differing high school soccer times. It is doable. The sad part about the restricting is it weakened the Mid-Atlantic Conference (along with DA defections). Now the conference is significantly easier.

By the way, some ECNL clubs do not let their girls play hough school.

Anonymous wrote:The GDA will drop the HS rule. This has been told to staff not parents. The information has been trickled down.

It's also being said on the NY and Socal forums.

It's also being said that MLS is getting out of the DA bussiness.

Lots of things are said but never happen. It was said two years ago that ECNL girls wouldn't be invited any more to NTCs and YNTs - by some people who are usually right. But they are there.

So, I can believe everything you said, but I don't rely on a forum or rumor mills since they can be wrong too.

Eastside FC (Seattle) joins ECNL.

Interesting note: Eastside FC provides the players for Reign DA.

So Crossfire just pulled out of DA for ECNL and Reign DA lost their affiliated club to ECNL and are financial unstable. If Reign pulls out so will Thorns.

NW DA could be in major trouble.

More likely whomever he's paying. Oh yeah right, that's so beneath ECNL, they would never wage a political battle to try to one up US Soccer....

I have a daughter who is currently ECNL. Can someone tell me what are the rules about trying out at other clubs. Can she try out at other ECNL clubs and how about DA?

Southern California forum is that Eagles Soccer Club has announced to their membership that they are leaving GDA for ECNL.

The forum there is also reporting that SoCal Blues might be next to go all-in ECNL. If that happens, it would be a HUGE hit to GDA. SoCal Blues has been one of the best clubs in the country for years.
