What would you like to hear about for DA and ECNL, if not about local clubs. Just national news without how it affects local clubs.
Can’t talk about FCV, Spirit, BRYC, McLean, Loudon, or VDA? Staff and Parents too excitable and you can’t handle the BS of a type A community? Stay on topdrawer or socceramerica. Don’t come to an anonymous forum with a preference for bashing and BS. |
That's true. Failure to do both has kept WS VA at the bottom, which ultimately leads to lower level out of conference games and lower level showcase games. If WS VA can make good on changing to do that very thing next year, its teams would become much more competitive and enhance development for all the players. It's better to create a competitive team with a small focused roster and to retain its better players rather than play them up, as well as not put younger players on that roster. If you look nationwide, that's what the better clubs all do. |
so tired of reading about DA soccer stuff in a DA soccer thread. |
Word is that the plan is to do just that; trim larger rosters and play players within age groups. That should help younger teams immediately. The infusion of better GFR players will also help, along with any outside players who elect to join. |
Agreed. The "troubled" teams will be the 02/01s, the 06s and I don't know what the 07 pool looks like since that's a new group. |
You can easily find out who their coaches were since the 2015-2016 season on the BRYC website: http://www.brycsoccer.com/coaching-staff if you were really interested. |
| OK Coach. You’re not touching that with a 10 foot pole, I see. |
