Fire employees who make blatant violations of the MCPS Employee Code of Conduct. Much of the code is written to detect grooming behaviors of a child predator. For example, employees are not supposed to be in a locked classroom or a classroom with the lights off with a student. |

I am a MCPS teacher. I was finger printed in 1998. They ran my background check in 1998. A lot could happen in 20 years. How many people were hired a decade ago and haven't been checked since? Within the last year, they started redoing these checks. They did a background check last year and then I just had my finger prints scanned again. But 20 years in between seems like a long time. |

We want them to stop using us and out kids as pawns in their hate for Hogan. We want them to stop playing school calendar games. We want them to stop implementing idiotic curriculum that failed our children. My dd is a senior, how much math do you think she knows? We want accountability, we want to know why is there a counselor (and a middle school teacher)selling drugs and knowing she was caught for two weeks without the school or superintendent saying a word about it? We want to know why 2.6 billion budget is not enough to provide accountability and build more schools? They are who**mongers who think it is their duty to get rid of Hogan. Two half days next week! Why? in 2017 they had 9 full or half professional days!! Enough is enough. |

I am the poster and why I said this is that they have know of issues for years. Getting rid of bad coaches, better coach training and AD's that listen to students and not try to cover up for the coaches or the athletes that are pulling this behavior with real repercussions are just a few of things that can be done to improve the athletic experience. What exactly does a video do except for them to point and say , see we did something? |
