Solidcore pricing

Yeah, no. I'm glad you love it so much, but for multiple reasons it is absolutely not a fit for me. It's not about getting used to it, either. It's not *that* complex.

I'm also pretty sure I've figured out my plan: there's a deal on Bethesda-only pricing (8 classes/month for $199), which I'll buy and then supplement with off-peak as needed. I'll really miss one of my WW regulars, but I think this will be workable. I may add in a bit of lifting, too.

I’m with you, OP. I *want to like PureBarre, but just don’t. I do like to supplement SolidCore with Barre3 to work some balance work in, but there’s something about Pure Barre that just doesn’t feel right for my body.

Am glad to hear you find Barre3 a good supplement! PureBarre just isn't a good fit for my personality (and no amount of it is going to get me as strong as I want to be). I'll take brutally hard sequences set to blaring EDM, thanks.

PureBarre is insanely boring, and I swear the instructors try to find bad music.

In case anyone else was going to take advantage of the Bethesda-only pricing deal, it sounds like it only runs through May. Still waiting to hear details from the studio manager, but thought I'd bump up in case others are considering.

I haven't heard of this deal. What is it, and where can I get more info?

I literally saw it written on the dry erase board in the studio ($199/8 classes per month). I had to email Bethann to ask about it, so I would do that if you're interested. Not sure how long it runs, i.e., if you buy now that price is good indefinitely, or what.

+1, it said Bethesda-only

I believe you are locked in, you are locked in at that price until you cancel. (allegedly).

Who's your favorite Wildwood coach? A number of my faves left.

It depends on when you can go. Adina, Liana, Ryan, Bethann all coach there and are all terrific (if somewhat different in style). Anne is great, too. Katherine (although I feel like her classes are very core focused, and I prefer more variety--but she's awesome). Who left that you really liked?

Oh! That's exactly what I like! Nothing frustrates me more than bicep silliness. Sometimes I feel like a lot of the arm work can be done at the gym or home. Core is where it's at!

Then you will love her! I haven't taken a ton with her, but when I have and in comparison to the others she consistently does a lot more core. She gives the hardest high fives after, too, which I love. But I love myself some shaky legs more

Kat? Interesting, I think of her (and Ryan) as one of the most well rounded of the teachers. I have the exact opposite reaction as pp. I don’t want to do additional muscle work after taking solidcore.

I keep reading about Lagree supreformer, which sounds very similar to solidcore. It would be great if that or something similar would come to the area for a little price competition. Otherwise I think solidcore devotees are kind of stuck between a rock and a hard place, because the workout requires an expensive piece of equipment AND a coach, and thus is pricey.
