Solidcore pricing

I can book the off peak vs regular classes using the MBO app. Go to Profile > Passes > choose the package you want to use and then select a class. If you choose the off peak package, it will only show those classes on the schedule.

And agree with all the above! Send this to solidcore, please!!!

Bumping to see if anyone has heard anything, either from the general email or coaches/managers or even other clients. I haven't, and will give it a bit more time before taking the next step. Am thinking that will be a Yelp review, but also open to suggestions if others have them.

I haven't heard anything back... I'd love to hear from others what they are planning to do.

I am somewhat resigned to the fact that they just don't care. I didn't expect them to take much action or make changes, but I did expect a response at least acknowledging my email and trying to say something nice (now that I type that-- I think that probably wasn't a reasonable expectation).

I don't think they are going to change anything at this point. I did complain about the inability to purchase bulk off peak and they did bring back a 10 pack off peak (but it's not at a discount, oh well).

My class this morning was full. People are still going to my studio.

I wouldn't expect an immediate change, but I have seen studios "bring back" deals or slowly walk back to old models of pricing. It certainly doesn't hurt to voice our complaints.

This likely wont change my pattern because I'm a working mom and a studio just opened 2 blocks from my house; but under other circumstances I would definitely shop around to the new lagree studio for a better deal. My classes haven't been full since opening, so I'm counting on others to vote with their $$!

Thanks, PPs. I don't expect them to walk back these changes immediately or any time soon. Acknowledgement of the lousy messaging and how these changes negatively affect their most dedicated clients would be nice, though, and would help me feel better about continuing to go.

Like I said, I'll give it a few more weeks and then post something on Yelp. I'm finishing out my 40 pack this month and then will think about how often to keep going. I don't want to stop going to my favorite coach entirely, but I may cut back.

It's funny, I've had more people ask me about solidcore in the past few weeks than the entire 12+ months I've been going, and I've been very blunt about the crumminess of the new pricing. Who knows if it will matter, but it feels right to be honest!

I sent them this thread, but did it anonymously. I really hate to think that they don't care.

When did you do that?

Tuesday, I think.

Yesterday’s class had four people. It is usually 10 or 12. The coach turnover is also frustrating.

Bumping with a different question: for those PPs who were going to try out other workouts, what have you done? How have those been? Seriously thinking about scaling way back at the end of the month, and trying to decide what I'd do next.

9:10, thanks for sending them this thread. I think they care inasmuch as it affects their bottom line, but not beyond that.

OP-Have you decided what you plan to do?

Have others tried anything new that they like? I have thought about doing PureBarre, but I’ve been before and I can’t seem to get past the smelly carpet

Sigh, no. I'm taking a ton of classes this month, mostly with Ryan, and that's having the opposite effect of me wanting to stop. Way too much fun.

Honestly, I'd probably do some mix of lifting and HIIT, when/if I quit solidcore. I've been to PureBarre, but it's not nearly intense enough for me. I basically have through May to decide, but walking away entirely would completely suck. I may try to scale back, but choosing which classes to give up wouldn't be easy.

I guess that's your answer then? You gotta pay to play. It sucks but it doesn't seem like any deals or discounts will be hitting our dc area any time soon.

Np. Give pure barre a chance. I’d give it a good month to really get used to the classes/ moves/lingo. It works! I’m a pure barre addict.
