I believe they asked for an extension or delay (not sure of the correct legal terminology) and that is why the trial is now in November. |
No. The trial got transferred from district court to circuit court, probably because the defendant requested a jury trial. The circuit court processes set 7 dates for things like scheduling. Two of the hearing dates for motions have been canceled because they didn’t have any motions to discuss. The jury trial is set for 2 days. It’s very easy to see all this. |
| Here we go again admin...sounds like some promotions are in order except for the AP who went on a do gooder reporting spree. |
Obligated to report observed potential crimes against children |
| MCPS is going to owe this guy a lot of money. |
Why? Did he get terminated? If not, they are paying him now. If yes, then it’s because they followed policy about terminating when there are charges filed. There is no liability when following a policy that is part of the employment agreement, regardless of the court result. |
He is still in the staff directory as Unassigned. |
Then he should pay it back if convicted |
| He will be convicted- wait and see after November |
| Mcps protects the admins at all costs. They should focus the blame on the reporters and the lowly teachers. |
| There’s an update - https://moco360.media/2024/11/25/former-ritchie-park-principal-acquitted/ |
| Interesting that Biedelman was promoted with many reported incidents, yet this guy was treated like dirt and wasn’t even convicted. Wonder why. 🙄 |
Easy answer |
Pretty sure if Biedelman was harassing students, he would’ve been treated like dirt, too! |
| I'm going to wait on the civil trial. It seems like they used the fact the kid had a disability to plant doubt in the jurors minds. Andrew also needs to stop posting on here and take responsibility for his anger issues. |
