We need massively stepped up criminal enforcement and convictions in DC

Yes, we should not be giving billions to Israel and Ukraine. And yes, minimum wage should be increased.

But you're wrong about this being a SEC thing. Criminals aren't carjacking because they need a vehicle to go somewhere - they're doing it for fun. You don't see new Afghan immigrants working at Target robbing people for their coats. You don't see refugees to the US or immigrants starting over, doing anything criminal. Blaming crime on SEC is absurd. What it is, is a lapse in ethics, values, and parenting.

I don’t know about Sao Paolo, but DC is far more dangerous to than all of these cities. It has more murders per capita than any major city in the Northeast and the West Coast. The only big city in America that comes close to the crime here is New Orleans and St Louis.

Regarding crime, London, Paris, Madrid, and Copenhagen are bucolic, sleepy hamlets compared to DC. Excusing the crime as just part of city life is a slight to other less murdery cities.

Nonsense. The murder rate in Copenhagen is 1.6 per 100,000 residents. In Washington DC, it's 32 per 100,000 residents.

The criminal class in DC is much more murder-y than almost anywhere on the planet. We have an incredibly violent population here. It's not remotely comparable to almost any city in the world. To say that things in DC are no different than in London, Paris, or Madrid is delusional.

Exactly. PP is acting you can’t Google murder statistics by year and a city’s population. Facts are not your friend PP. DC is incredibly dangerous compared to city’s its size in America, and much more dangerous than cities in Europe.

DC has more than five times the murder rate of NYC. Let’s not even start comparing it to Copenhagen.
