Islamophobic and anti-semitic hate crimes in the US since 10/7

Sorry but the (again, very expensive) classroom with limited time has a structure - one which has been well thought out by many professionals to present learning of very specific material.

For all I’ve heard about safe spaces in recent years (Demands for safe spaces), the classroom as a safe space for learning (math!) I should think would be such a space! For “ALL” we say - do we really mean that, or not?

Many colleges are weak and wobbly when it cones to protecting Jewish students. There are probably many reasons for this--political, fear, etc.

1 shot outside Providence mosque

A man associated with the mosque was shot by a guy who had been standing across the street watching the mosque for about 20 minutes.

This guy was apparently an Acting Director of the National Security Council under Obama. Here he goes on an Islamophobic rant against a food vender:

What a deranged lunatic. This individual needs immediate, involuntary, and sustained mental health services.

"If we killed 4,000 Palestinian children, it wasn't enough."

Go on, defend him. Let's hear the roaring silence of condemnation from those who demand it of everyone else.

Rahm Emanuel’s house vandalized and called an antisemitic crime.

He’s obviously unhinged.

Having said that, I do wonder what intel he is privy to given his prior career. It obviously impacted him.

Is the bottom of the barrel so near that we are citing the Post editorial board?

That's not unhinged behavior. There was no provocation, resulting in THAT behavior. That's derangement.

And suggesting that it has something to do with his doddering career during or since he bamboozled his way into a gov't post is just a shabby, rather ineffectual way of trying to re-direct away what's far more likely. That is, he's saying the things that many, many people who share his views feel deep down, but are usually far better about keeping away from cameras.

The smug serenity with which he stands there treating another human being like that, completely devoid of compassion or dignity or regard for how his actions will appear to others - just, "I'm above this piece of nothing in front of me, and above anyone who has a problem with what I'm saying, too."

He's nobody. I'm somebody. I'll torment him as long as I want because he's not even the spit out chewing gum on the soles of my shoes.

The stuff of nightmares.

By the way, his name is Stuart Seidowitz if you want to say some prayers for his lost soul this holiday season.

Or, simply, they look white, and universities have gone in the business of seeing white people as the enemy.

"The videos, posted on Twitter by a Columbia University student, shows Stuart Seldowitz asking someone off camera, “Did you rape your daughter like Muhammad did?” and saying that killing 4,000 Palestinian children “wasn’t enough.”

...

Seldowitz was acting director for the National Security Council South Asia Directorate under Obama and was deputy director/senior political officer in the U.S. State Department’s Office of Israel and Palestinian Affairs from 1999 to 2003. More recently, he served as foreign affairs chair for Gotham Government Relations, which announced his new role in a press release in November 2022. "

And people wonder why the world views are Israel policy as absurdly biased
