I haven't read any of the rest of this thread, but count me as one Jew who's happy to condemn this creep. I don't know if he needs mental health services; I think it's quite clear that plenty of people who aren't actually insane have a difficult time seeing the humanity in people they disagree with. But I wish he'd shut the F up and stay inside and keep to himself.

Many colleges are weak and wobbly when it cones to protecting Jewish students. There are probably many reasons for this--political, fear, etc.

As a Jew who believes in Israel's right to exist and defend itself, I don't think Jewish students — specifically — need to be protected from someone chanting "Free Palestine" in class. Not all assertions of Palestinian nationality are inherently antisemitic or challenges to Jewish nationality. In this case, the students were disrupting the class, sure, but not in any way that targeted Jews rhetorically or otherwise.

He went off script, but he's not an outlier. Those who feel exactly the way he does, but who manage to stay on script, are legion.

They punch first, they hide behind the State of Israel's curated blank check relationship with the U.S. as "validation" of their righteousness, they carpet bomb ANY criticism of the State of Israel's actions as "anti-semitism", and they utilize classic DARVO strategy to shush away the reality of the last 100 years of Middle East conflict. And then the State of Israel uses use cutting-edge aerospace and military-grade technology from the U.S. to \continue an established pattern of tormenting their neighbors.

What a mess. The entire region should have been transformed into a parking lot long ago, relocating every last person to another region across the globe where they could be free to live with a lot more peace, and a lot less conflict.

I don’t know this guy in the video, but simply working off his prior title, I imagine he was privy to information and situations with details that never went public. And that makes me wonder what he heard or observed and how that might have impacted him.

So what you’re saying is that there MAY be some privileged information that he MAY have had access to at some time, which would render his conduct less offensive and vile than it appears to be on the surface?
