+1. She was following the proper procedure. You don't have to like it, but she did what she was supposed to do. |
The police still get called whether you want them to or not. There have been over a dozen this year alone in MCPS |
|
How often does Principal Heidi L. Slatcoff call the cops on children rather than handling issues herself? How many times does Principal Slatcoff NOT call the cops and instead handles issues herself? Is this information available through the school?
What does she call for or not call for? Vaping tobacco? Vaping Marijuana? Weapons? Fake weapons? Assault on another student/fights? Selling Illegal Substances? Sexual assault? First amendment protected speech? How many instances occur per school year? How many are handled internally? How many require police involvement? How many times were the police called when no crime took place? How many times were the police NOT CALLED when a potential crime did take place? From what I hear it’s quite a discrepancy, anyone have real numbers or insight? |
Please show me where you find that. https://www.montgomeryschoolsmd.org/uploadedFiles/students/rights/0851.22_2022-23_STUDENT_Code%20of%20Conduct_WEB.pdf |

This is the procedure they are to follow.
"VERBAL REPORT: All hate-bias incidents must be reported to the Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD)" https://www.montgomeryschoolsmd.org/uploadedFiles/compliance/FY23_QUICK%20REFERENCE%20Hate%20Bias%20Procedures.pdf |
Shhh stop making sense and posting facts. The bigots don’t like it. |
I too am embarrassed for the Principal. The MCPS polices really make her look like a fool. |
I love the time and effort you put into this. |
If this is what the police in Montgomery County are doing, maybe they should be defunded... |
Lol. |
It is a *false report* to the police. Not proper procedure. |
It’s not a hate-bias incident. |
Whether it comes from MCPS or the principal, it’s an absurd policy |
Yes it is. |
No it's not! Are we really all going to act like toddlers? Can we just go back and forth with "nah-uhs" and "uh-huhs" |
