I’m not sure what people are arguing about. However, looking at CLC Orange rosters it looks like a mixed bag. So I guess a good number of players go elsewhere for A teams and you can see that with DMV players on MD A team rosters.

Cap Orange did not look good last weekend. they are outside of the Top 50 rankings and not moving up anytime soon.

And as long as college coaches are going to emphasize club team records and rankings, this is what we're going to get. When they start looking for individual players' skills to add to their team, times will change. But who knows when that will be?

I don't think there's been any agreement or consensus on that whatsoever. Many think Pride is the way to go, and plenty believe if you can wait for Capital to work their magic with the Blues, the coaching and the patience will be worth it. And I don't think your doing DD any favors if you're not at.least investigating Hero's and Skywalkers. It's not as simple as some think.

Why is Capital such a communist system placing the blue players first over the orange players? Naturally one would suggest that it is because blue players are more capable than orange, but the top of one team(Orange) is almost always better than the bottom of another(blue).
How much influence does JB have in this process? Shouldn’t ability speak for itself and the college coaches approach who they feel is best for their team? Sorry if this question is naive.

100%. It depends on your own situation. Orange is a great fit for some and a not for others. Some years Pride is better than Orange and other years it is Orange. It will depend on the coach, group of girls, and your own goals. Ideally all the “next best” players would go to the same team and get a good coach at a different club so they can play in top brackets, but that rarely happens because you don’t have the time to put that together after tryouts.

This may be a shock to all of you, but college coach don’t ever look at a clubs rankings, EVER.

Now, I’m sure you’re going to ask, how do you know this. Well, that is because they don’t cate about how well a team does. They are looking for individuals. Plus, well, I have an insider track, without giving too much away

It has nothing to do with JB. It has everything to do with college coaches. The coaches are reaching out to grab the blue players first, that’s why they go first

However, there were many orange players who committed WAY before blue players did. Many orange players go early, like in September,

Also, many orange players go to D3 schools, especially the NESAC schools, and they commit very late in the process.

It had less to do with JB, and more about the process

Yes, that’s why I see the sidelines for the MCE games packed with scouts.

College coaches care about player talent not club team records or rankings. Capital 24s and 23s were ranked #15 and sent players to programs that rival top 5 club teams.

Lakeshore and Team One teams were ranked in the forties to sixties. But guess what, every year they have five or six girls going to top D1 schools.

People, if you want advice, stop being a$$holes. Some of us have actually been through this and are trying to give you some insight

This is not the whole story. Rankings give them a way to prioritize tournaments and teams to scout. But they have multiple assessment channels like camps, clinics, high school games, club games, online game film, club coaches, hs coaches, recruiting coordinators and recommendations from personal coaches to name a few.
