And once again handing the state of her to Republicans. This election is far greater implications than just one state, but of course Democrats can't see that because fetterman doesn't give them 100% of everything you're looking for. Must throw him out completely. Meanwhile, Republicans would vote for a literal pile of crap. And win.

Blue, no matter who.... right?
Maybe the voters in PA actually care about who they elect. Maybe they are looking to elect someone who has demonstrated he can think for himself and not just press the "right" button. Maybe they want to elect a candidate who will listen to them and represent their needs.
Fetterman has not demonstrated that he is that candidate.

Maybe they do care about who they are voting for.

Are states allowed to call a mulligan on an election? If there was ever a time to replace both candidates with random people from the voter rolls, this is it.

Betting markets have 2-1 odds favoring Oz.

Sure, why not? Why don't you lead that effort on behalf of The People of PA, PP?

No one cares that Oz is as big a forced birther fascist as the rest of the GOP?

I will take gamblers’ opinions, even when they put their money where their mouths are, with a grain of salt.

As do I, but a far smaller grain of salt than paid pundits or people who simply want to be optimistic about their own side's chances.

me again. and btw, they also have Hochul at 75 cents to Zilden's 26 cents. Are you taking that with a grain of salt, as well?

Why not? Pennsylvania blatantly violated its own laws with regards to the 2020 election, so why is this a bridge too far? What difference does it make as long as it benefits the dems, right? Don’t we owe them every possible advantage?

Nope. No one cares. Just you and all the other voices shouting inside your head.

“Vote blue, no matter who”.

It was no where near as bad as these people on twitter are making it out to be
Yes he stumbled a little more than the average politician during a debate but all things considered having had a stroke not long ago he did really well

Nonetheless no I wouldn’t vote for him at this time. Having a stroke has physical and cognitive side effects. It is possible that with the passage of time both improve but it’s not a given. There is also quite a bit of follow up medical appts and monitoring. And once a person has a stroke they are far more likely to suffer another. He needs to put time and effort into healing and that is where his energy will eventually be needed. He can continue to push himself but he will likely burn out it worse suffer another stroke. I know someone who struggled with aphasia after a stroke. It took a few months to get back to a level where he didn’t have to struggle for the most common words and about a year out, he only struggled if he became very tired. It didn’t go away completely it just improved.

Members of Congress get cancer and go out for months for treatment & recovery….including multiple bouts of cancer. Steve Scalise was shot and out of commission for months. Tons of members of congress have serious medical conditions that require ongoing care, including Senator McConnell.

Fetterman will be fine and improve with time. He will have doctors in both DC and PA helping with ongoing speech therapy.

This is truly a nothingburger. The guy isn’t a vegetable, he can think and write. Debate and speech is mostly dead in the Senate.

There is no way to know today if that is true. Even his doctors aren't going to tell him that for sure. It's not a definite. He might not improve and all the speech therapy in the world won't make a difference.

It's definitely not a nothingburger. It is a real issue.

It's not a "speech therapy" issue. It is severe cognitive impairment, as a result of the stroke. All I can say is that Mrs. Fetterman is another Mrs. Biden - power hungry women who will literally throw their husbands to the wolves, just for a chance to be in power.

WTh is this misogyny?!? The evil women are plotting behind their husbands’ backs? They have no agency of their own?

In these two similar examples, no. Both of these wives are willing to risk their husbands' health and reputation, in order to serve themselves.

PA Dems made a big mistake by not replacing Fetterman after his stroke. I have personal empathy for Fetterman and his family, but the man should have withdrawn. Slurring some speech and mashing together a few words are one thing. Speaking nonsensical answers (even if one's brain is processing the information correctly) is another. PA is not a blue state in which a Dem candidate can win simply by breathing. I dislike Oz for a number of reasons, but I fear many voters came away from the debate thinking Oz is really the only viable candidate for office.
