To put it bluntly, Fetterman's aphasia will motivate credulous Republicans and gullible, shortsighted independents to vote for the carpetbagger from the insurrectionist party. |
|
Oz, man so much for the GOP keeping the government out of people's lives.
Pathetic. |
| If Fetterman wins and then resigns, is there another election or does someone (the governor?) appoint someone? |
| Cynical ploy to delay the debate until well after mail in voting started but I can see why they did it. Dude should have dropped out and let Connor lamb run |
Do you really think this would flip votes in PA? People are really motivated on both sides. I swear some would vote for a corpse over the GOP candidate. |
It’s a blue state. He’ll win. |
.. t is just politics as usual. |
I dunno. I drove through PA to get home to Detroit and there are a lot of signs on private properties supporting Trump. Ditto on my way up through Philly (blue) to W-B / Scranton (visited a cousin outside Wilkes-Barre, so not Biden’s hometown exactly). I don’t know a lot about the contemporary PA mindset outside a handful of people there and in Philly plus the road signs. |
| He has aphasia. It is a disability but his mind is all there. |
| The media covered for Fetterman up until about two weeks ago. They should have pushed harder and been honest with the voters. Instead, they kept saying he was healthy, and then later blamed Republicans for attacking someone with a disability. |
This could be a positive to some people. |
| He nailed the policy points. Very proud of this dude. |
| I doubt any votes changed over this debate. Anyone who's spent more than a minute listening to Fetterman understands his condition. 50/50 he resigns after taking the seat. |
I’m confused. You saw Trump signs in “Philly”? |
