Fetterman - Oz Debate — anyone keeping tabs on this?

I'm not sure what you're talking about. The media has been truthful the whole time. He had a stroke. He has aphasia. He is not mentally diminished. All of that has been reported.

OP again — will this debate matter much to voters? Will he garner sympathy votes to help get him across the line?

It’s a blue state. He’ll win.

I dunno. I drove through PA to get home to Detroit and there are a lot of signs on private properties supporting Trump. Ditto on my way up through Philly (blue) to W-B / Scranton (visited a cousin outside Wilkes-Barre, so not Biden’s hometown exactly). I don’t know a lot about the contemporary PA mindset outside a handful of people there and in Philly plus the road signs.

I’m confused. You saw Trump signs in “Philly”?

No. Just explaining my route to NEPA. Outside of Philly — yes.

There are pockets of red voters, but blue comes through in the end.

Snap poll from PA tv station: Oz “won” 83-17. Honestly, it was a draw.

You could lose a debate and still do well on Election Day. He seems like a candidate that GOP should be able to live with.

Can we please stop with this nonsense that a casual survey of signs is any sort of data at all?! NP

LOL!

Not even close. I felt sorry for Fetterman and I blame the people around him.
Not sorry enough to vote for him. This job is too important for a sympathy vote.

If you paid attention, I was asking what the PA mindset was bc all I really had were signs and a few personal connections. I’m literally asking for what PA voter mindset is. Polls and anecdata can provide a window. Geez.

Fetterman’s people definitely but there might be some hubris on the candidate’s part too. It’s disappointing but I don’t think he’s out of it yet. Like I said earlier, some people would pick a corpse over anyone in the GOP especially in a tight race like this.

He sounds about as coherent as Trump (on a good day). Person, woman, man, camera, TV.

And Trump won one election, so Fetterman has a chance.

Is this the new MAGA bullshit talking point?

Pretty funny seeing the MAGAs pretending to think that speaking coherently is some kind of qualification for political office.

How can one person describe a “mindset?”
