I think you might be, sorry. Nice friendship but no chemistry imo.

I’m a huge Jennifer Morrison fan. Disagree that they don’t have chemistry. She’s gotta be his end game.

She’s been OK in other things, but I hate how she plays Cassidy as such a sourpuss on this show. A real downer - no charm at all.

Agree, no charm or humor whatsoever. I’d be very disappointed if they put her with Kevin, don’t think it will happen.

Well, she was carrying around some PTSD from her tour of duty, and her marriage was falling apart, so that may have impacted her charm factor

I’m really appreciating the Randall/Beth/Deja storyline. I like when shows portray a realistic dynamic on teen sexuality, because until a few years ago the subject was only ever portrayed in the worse case scenario (teen girl has sex one time = pregnancy scare episode)

Whyyyyyy with the past timeline episode next????

Not related to the episode discussion, but for those who enjoy "Grumpy Gregory" the neighbor: It's certain that we'll see Gregory at least one more time before the series ends. Tim Omundson just filmed for an upcoming episode.

Is that Kate/Toby’s next door neighbor?

PP who wrote that Randall is a sad sack here.

This episode was so much better. Randall had humor and charm. It wasn't over the top, just funny, and he had the punchline to Deja's joke! "Why are atoms untrustworthy?" "Because they make up everything."

Beth was on fire. +1 to the suggestion that she get her own show.

This time, I didn't think Beth was feeling like she had to help Randall emotionally. They seemed in sync with their initial reactions. "Let's kill her and bury her in the back yard." lol
But Beth realized that has angry as they were, this was a moment where Deja also needed her mother. Loved when Beth went in, sat on the bed, and rubbed Deja's foot. It was perfect.

Great episode for the Randall Pearson family.

Same here. Though, I couldn’t quite figure out what the takeaway was from this episode.

What do we think about next week? Finally, looks like the story of Rebecca and Miguel. Is Malik going to propose? And wonder what the Kate storyline is about?

I don’t know. When the cat is the most interesting part of the episode…

Another wasted episode when so many more stories to tell.

Agree!!

I like it when an episode deals with real problems and situations that almost everybody goes through. Meaning in addition to the problems a celebrity has merging his sitcom schedule with rushing over to see the twins burp or something.

+1 I get why it was important to Jack, his grief and his healing, and I suppose it ties into the loss of Rebecca looming but it was unnecessary to devote an entire hour to this. I much prefer when parallels are developed in multiple timelines.

Was the entire episode in the past? Trying to decide if I should just skip it over.
