So he told you he was going to Maine, told his grandparents he was going to PA...and is now just gone? He's probably into something serious and shady. I'm sorry, OP, but glad you didn't get wrapped up in whatever this is.

OP here: trooper told me the grandparents last saw him/heard from him on friday evening....same with me.

Reminds me of a co-worker from years ago. Her live-in BF one day got up and walked out into the woods, removing articles of clothing as he did it. Went completely nuts, basically. They broke up.

This should tell you everything you need to know OP. He's not missing or hurt. He left and does not want to be found. By you or his grandparents.

You might never know the reason he split, but whatever it is it's probably a pretty sketchy reason.
