It's still there, aside from Fox, Sinclair, and the hedge funds that are buying and closing newspapers.

Nope. It’s nowhere to be found. NPR, NYT and WaPo are just as bad on the other side of the spectrum. It’s all become a joke.

And the people are suffering because of it. No reliable news source that gives honest, unbiased reporting on either side.

Yeah, no they're not. They're just not. Don't be a nihilist or a both-sides-er.

Get out of your box. NPR, NYT, MSNBC, CNN and WaPo are all just as biased as Fox News, OAN, and NewsMax. You just like what they say so, in your mind, they are not biased. Journalism is dead, sorry.

Biased and Lying are not equivalent.

True - and their idea of bias is not supporting their bias. The truth sources like the post rely on facts and attempt to be fair and balanced Fox not so much. They're usually too busy covering up sexual harassment charges to worry about truth.

MCPS wil be vindicated about 2 weeks after schools open down south and there are even more massive outbreaks.

OP looks really bad here. MANY school systems are going DL to start the year. Don't see a problem with that. Privates are going mostly hybrid.

We should see by October what all these changes result in. But, I think we all know based on what happened in Israel and some other countries in Europe when they reopened.

150,000 dead and the statistics are about to go parabolic.
Shame on you for worrying about how "we look" ?!?!
History will remedy those who didn't shut down as a bunch of jackasses

Then how come every other country can open up, close a few schools temporarily and keep going on and open?

How can daycares, camps, pools, etc... stay open right now? No issues.

Because you know kids are not that symptomatic, they don’t spread it much at all, masks work, and so does social distancing.

I believe OP. I think come November we are going to look like fools. We can’t sit home scared to death. There is an easy way to prevent this from spreading. Normal same people know this. Teachers are essential. Kids were in school for a month while this disease spread. No issue.

Pretty sure history will remember the president who put us in this position. Not those that don’t want to quarantine for what was supposed to be a few weeks and it is now month 7.

Check out the photo of Niagara Falls that shows the Maid of the Mist and its Canadian counterpart. America is weak.

NYC is going back. So is Long Island. So is New Jersey suburbs.

Schools across the world have opened without issue. Germany reopened with an RO above 1 and was fine.

And there are 1000x the number of cases in the US than in Germany because they're able to manage this unlike us.

Yes, the US is a sh**show by comparison to any other first-world nation largely because the population is unable to reason and feels entitled.

The schools here aren't that great so no big loss closing them in the interests of public health and safety.

We’re a Nation that just can’t stop road tripping, vacationing, backyard gathering, play dating, and doing whatever upper middle class white folk want to do. It’s sad.
