I work for DJS. I would bet a lot of money - because I see it DAILY - they will be charged as adults, given some long sentencing term that's announced to the media, and then the judge will 'waive them down' to one of the DJS schools, and they'll only have to do 6-9 months. I work in one of the schools and it's DISGUSTING how many of our kids have been 'charged as an adult' but the judges waive them down to juvenile to serve.
