When does it stop being sex and start being rape or assault or something? Younger than 16 strikes me as very questionable in terms of whether someone is mature enough to legitimately consent to sex. Certainly pre-teens fit in this category in my thinking. So, 13-15?

Age matters too. A 15 and 16 year old having sex does bother me nearly as much as, say, a 15 and 18 year old.

Childish ? I worry about it everyday. Not just the sex thing of course but every mistake I've ever made. Burning in hell is real, most people won't go to heaven. Where else do we all go ? Hell. I refuse to have kids because of it. I can't imagine creating someone who will one day be on fire for all eternity.

There is no hell. It's just a myth someone made up a long time ago, probably to keep people in line.

16 and she was 15. We dated through high school and my freshman year, then she followed me to college and it fizzled out as she decided she wanted to be a party girl. Not in touch, but I see her name in the alumni review from time to time.

I am a pp, had sex at 15. I was an insecure, unhappy person with zero self-esteem. My father was absent and my mother was not much of a parent. I would describe myself as a "slut" - as in, having sex with guys outside of the context of a relationship or very early in a relationship. Teen girls who are promiscuous (sluts) usually behave this way because they lack self-esteem. They don't value themselves - probably because they are not valued by their parents. This is not something to criticize, judge or make fun of. It is sad. Do better for your daughters so that they don't disrespect themselves.

DH was definitely not a virgin! We met and dated for 3 months before having sex. I told him I was a virgin and he was very patient with me and made the whole experience very special. We got engaged about 6 months later and have been married for 10 years and have 3 kids!
