- unprotected from layoffs and on a verge of being replaced by AI and losing healthcare coverage
- always on the verge of medical bankruptcy
- unprotected from the fallout of climate change

But the main problem is the pronouns?

Not lack of affordable education, not lack of affordable healthcare, not better quality food, not protecting environment from poisoning, not lack of upward mobility, none of that.. The pronouns!

Do they look at themselves in the mirror and think the biggest problem for me is the gender ambiguity? Or the biggest problem for me is that Mexican next door that goes to ER for free?

For some people it might be the main problem, for others it was one of many problems voters had with the democrats.

Well now, lack of affordable healthcare, unaffordable colleges, expensive, crappy, processed, preservative laden garbage food, inability to afford a house and rents too expensive, homeowners unable to get their homes insured because of climate change, corporate monopolies, falling prey to identity theft, phone and email scams, predatory lenders, all of that is now the problem they need to reconcile with Republicans because Democrats are now irrelevant and out of the picture. And it will get worse. If they can barely afford to treat themselves for a dinner out now, just wait til Jose and Carlos and most of the kitchen staff get deported and it gets a whole lot more expensive. If they can't afford housing now, just wait til half of the construction crews are gone. If the stuff they buy at Walmart is getting expensive now, just wait til Trump's tariffs hit and the prices double. But hey at least they won their dumb pronoun battle.

Those are the "many problems" that the Trump voters will absolutely need to accept ownership of. You won, there's no more Democrat blaming you can do.

I'll tell you what, I will pay a little more for my Walmart purchases if it means that more of it was produced in America and Americans are working for living wages instead of illegal immigrants working for pennies on the dollar and deflating wages across the board.

The thing is that it won’t be a “little more”. For poor Americans it might mean they will beome homeless and qualify for social services. (Socialism). But, we just all have to pull ourselves up with our bootstraps.

Except those people will be able to have jobs with living wages.

People, please please read newspapers. Walmart is nearly 100% responsible for manufacturing going to China. They literally killed small towns that had a single product, like the Mr. Potato Head. They told the company they would only stock it if it was pieced $9.99 but it was currently retailing for $14.99. So they decide rather than go out of business, they will save management and produce it in China.

These laid off employees shop at Walmart for the low prices. These towns start cannibalizing each other, so the same thing happens to the Etch-a-Sketch town.

Also, Walmart is notorious for underemploying workers to avoid paying them benefits. I believe they are the company with the most employees on public assistance.

If you care about those things, it’s time to pay more with small, local businesses. You can’t have it both ways.

+1. In our small business we had to outsource a few things or yes basically go out of business. A tarrif is probably the end of it. There's no point in making a product that is too expensive for anyone to purchase. You just go out of business.

It absolutely is happening at a significant level. Look at the boycotts of collegiate women, willing to lose games rather than risk their safety playing against male bodies. Look at the firing of the coaches speaking up for their female players. Look at the two winners of the female boxing category at the Olympics. You can bury your head in the sand or you can open your eyes.

I have college athletes on my own and I've been to countless athletic events in college and elsewhere. This is not a thing. Youth sports, college sports, high school sports. They are rolling along as the billion dollar business that they are . relax

But why don't you go and tell that to my niece who was raped and lost a year of college. Explain to her why this guy has to sit in the oval office and she's struggling to finish college. And there's plenty more like her. Way way more like her than trans athletes that ever stepped out on a field.
