+1 Woke mind virus....It's destroying the mental health of liberals.

Conservatives pooped on a desk in Congress

i feel bad for anyone still using the word 'woke'.
It has a very specific meaning, is from 2017 (get over it) and does not mean what you think it does.
To liberals when conservatives say 'woke' it literally translates to 'general liberal insult that has no meaning'. so it does not offend us.

It may not offend you, but it just caused you to lose the White House.

Keep it up!

They want universal healthcare, affordable housing, women’s rights enshrined in our constitution, and an end to the genocide in Gaza. They want a higher standard of living for everyone. It’s a huge miscalculation of the Democratic Party that they can win by moving further right.

With Trump as President they're going to at least have their wish with Gaza. The was is going to end because the territory is going to be de-populated.

Once GWB was elected in his surprise victory? We never heard rants about Political Correctness again. It magically disappeared from the zeitgeist.

The same will happen with “Woke” within the next two years. It will disappear as Republicans try to grapple with power and f#cking up.

But it was under Busch that the Capitol Christmas Tree became the Capitol Holiday Tree. That admin was so pro PC, people forgot all about it. Obama changed it back to the Capitol Christmas Tree. Obama was much more against the PC trends of that era, and rolled things back.

I think this is what we are experiencing now. I don’t think it mattered all that much who the democratic candidate was. We have just had COVID, Inflation, BLM Riots, conflicts in the Middle East, High Crime, Trans Issues, and the whole Male Loneliness / men falling behind thing. America has decided that they don’t want it and have brought Trump in to “right the cultural ship”. Kamala Harris is Walter Mondale in the second election if Reagan(who had a female running mate). He lost every state except Minnesota and DC

As a Trump voter - who is a white woman with a master's degree. I believe this totally nails it.
I actually don't consider myself a Republican, I'm a former Democrat who now identifies as an Independent. My views are more along the lines of Bill Maher. There's much I don't like about Trump and the Republican party overall. But the left has gone off the rails, big time. I don't think they have any idea of how much they have alienated middle of the road, possibly even left leaning people. People like Joe Rogan, Pierce Brosnan, Elon Musk. People who just a few years ago weren't considered right wing.
The left's views on social issues has just become way out of touch for most Americans many of us feel desperate to put a stop to it.

NP. Same.

Progressives hijacked the Democratic Party.

Everyone knows the eight-member “Squad” and independent / socialist Bernie Sanders are fringe politicians. They are radicals. They are not the majority of democrats and are not mainstream.

Bernie is open about the fact he not a democrat at all.

So why are the ideas of these radicals, these progressives, at the very front of the Democratic Party?

Take for example the dividing concept, “woke.” Kamala is on video embracing it.

Or “defund the police” / release violent criminals (ie: redefine juvenile offenders as anyone under 26 years old). Kamala embraced that.

In fact, Kamala was voted the most progressive member of the senate. Why did anyone believe her extremist views should be the leading views of the whole party?

The path forward is clear and simple: dump the failed, radical, progressive ideas. Tell them to go join the Green Party.

If they stay within the Democratic Party, the progressives should certainly not be the people leading the party.

Careful, or we might have to roll the clock back farther.

Oh, no doubt you will! You did elect Trump.

If you believe that prioritizing mediocre white men over everyone else is "anti woke," then yeah I guess we've done that. But I'm not interested in being that kind of anti woke.

Not to mention her awful selection of a vice president.

Kamala lost this one herself. Picking anybody else wouldn't have helped.

Donald Trump hasn't taken office yet and you guys are already whining? Shouldn't you be celebrating and leave the left alone ? Lol. Woke this , woke that. Well, you're going to be in charge come January, let's see what you'll do. As a progressive, I will change nothing about my views and who I vote for and, if a Democrat thinks attempting to move even slightly to the right is the way to go , good luck to them.

Donald Trump's decisive victory last night marked one of the greatest moments in American history. It was a moment that will be remembered, written about, discussed, and studied centuries from now. It was truly a miraculous moment. To call it miraculous is not to in any way dismiss all of the very real work that was done by so many. It is to underscore that God’s hand can be felt and seen through all of this. It was a result that showed God’s goodness and His mercy. He is giving America another chance. That’s the kind of history that was made.
It was historic not only because Trump achieved a political comeback unlike anything in American history but also because he survived multiple assassination attempts and a relentless campaign of legal attacks aimed at keeping him off the ballot and putting him behind bars.
Donald Trump’s victory marks the day Americans took back control of their country, as he himself said last night. It showed a clear mandate: after years of lies and manipulation from the corporate press, Americans have finally had enough. The media, so-called “national security experts,” and corrupt prosecutors can no longer deceive or bully the public into submission. They can cry “racism” and “fascism” all they want—it doesn’t work anymore. They can’t pretend outrage over a comedian’s joke or push candidates with no real credibility and expect Americans to fall in line.
The media’s power to shape the narrative has collapsed. Their influence, once vast, is now impotent, with them talking only to each other, cut off from the reality that Americans live every day. Trump’s victory didn’t just break through the media’s grip on public opinion; it ended it. There’s no going back.

DP: I couldn't agree more, all of it.

The Democratic Party needs a Sister Souljah moment and kick the extremists and crazies out into the cold.

Kamala like Hilary Clinton couldn't have reinvented themselves as virulence right wingers and still would've lost. We know why .

Right? Most Pew studies show an increasingly irreligious younger population less interested in organized religion. I think 2028 will go dem because the zealots in charge will overplay their hand with the Gliead-on-ice dream world they will try to implement.
