Political Discussion
“Hey, little lady, that’s some nice independent thinking you’ve got. You wouldn’t want to see that go away, would you? Better agree with us completely that transwomen are women, don’t you think?” People voted against you precisely because they are sick of people like you threatening them exactly like you just did. |
I am really am horrified that men literally are insisting that I have to call them women. And to further clarify, I, the woman, must actually refer to myself as a ciswoman. But the conservatives are the problem? The ones who just want to live and let live? |
BS. My progressive cousin pulled the same stupid argument you are trying to pull, except with illegal immigrants. Those people affected my life because they popped up all over my own kids social media. To my kids, those two individuals were passed off by social media as “normal.” Normal, or course, normally means: the majority; most; not out of the ordinary. But they are not ordinary. Transgender people are 0.08 % of the population (give or take). Transgender people are NOT the norm. They are not even a minority; they are a tiny fraction of the population of our democracy (democracy meaning: representational rule by the majority). So how does a fraction of one percent of the population deserve 90% of our national attention? (hint: they don’t). These people affected my life by playing victim, fooling a vast number of voters, and nearly boosting Kamala into the POTUS position. Enough with identity politics! Enough with dividing Americans instead of uniting us. Enough with the stupid “victim-hood olympics” progressives continually push. We are buying your BS any longer, PP. |
And I meant to add: while I was referring to the two transgender Biden officials / DEI appointments pictured about, my kids’ public school budget has suffered because the county dumped all the money into ESOL services for the illegal alien kids, and the US citizen kids of illegal immigrants, who would not be here, but for Harris/biden’s open-border policies. So yes - those groups of people do affect my life, as well as yours. |
I voted for Harris you ninny. For me those issues paled in importance to everything else. But I'm a globalist Washingtonian. To the electorate at large they mattered. And it's obvious that they mattered. Did you really think that alienating normies was a winning strategy? Why weren't those more important issues more important to you? Indentity politics by its very nature creates an us versus them binary. |
Sure, but I can hold my head high and say I didn't vote based on a dating app experience of a friend of mine. |
It’s true my womanhood isn’t threatened by trans women, like my marriage isn’t threatened by gay marriage. I’m a history buff is all. I’m taking Trump at face value, while many people clearly are not. When he said he wants to deport the mentally deranged, I point out that white women were considered that only 100 years ago. But, your tone is very misogynistic with the “little lady” which you could also tone down. |
You misread. I agree with you. The person threatening women that they will go into insane asylums if we don’t chant “transwomen are women” does not. That PP was threatening women who disagree with gender ideology. |
That’s your tone. I was just rephrasing what you actually meant. You are threatening women who don’t line up behind you on gender ideology. And yes, trans activists absolutely think of biological woman as less than human. It’s a wildly misogynistic movement. |

This thread is the embodiment of how American exceptionalism was always a myth, and social media has destroyed our country.
Trump voters are incensed about trans gender because it constantly pops up on their social media. They think it’s normalized and that their kids are going to change genders. The GOP created and is fueling this identity crap. It’s your own party dummies. This started with the Michelle Duggar robo calls that men were going to use women’s bathrooms. Most people were like WTF and who cares. |
No no, I got that. I should have been more clear. My post was in agreement. The other poster does not see womanhood as threatened by men who go to extreme lengths to parody women and parade around with what they know are the most exagerrated aspects of womanhood and we are excoriated if we don't publicly say "transwomen are women." Oh, except there's no such thing as women, just transwomen or ciswomen. |
Um, have you met their POTUS candidate? |
Also, we should talk about class, especially the chasm between working class and upper class. |
