this is the truth. I suspect many outwardly supporting Trump voters will chose differently at the polls. |
So say the people that hope to see Trump re-elected in 2024. We aren't falling for it. |
then you are hopelessly stupid |
No, it is a vote against both candidates.
I cannot support Trump for oh so many reasons. I also cannot support Biden, because he continues to only tepidly support Israel in the current war. So I plan to proudly support No Labels, alongside millions of other American Jews fed up with the Democratic Party recognizing loud and proud anti-semites like AOC, Omar, the rest of the squad, and the radical left who are fighting against the safety of our loved ones across the sea. |
What are you talking about? Biden's support for Israel is rock-solid. |
I just cannot imagine why you are voting for the Leopards Eating Faces party, the party of “Jews will not replace us.” You aren’t thinking remotely rationally and if the GOP gets back in power, you won’t have to worry about the safety of your loved ones in Israel, you’ll have to figure out your own exit plan from the US. Perhaps because you’re Jewish and have never been able to fully inhabit far right Christian spaces (even if you think you have), Jewish people are hated. You are sincerely mistrusted. You’re still whispered about as the murderers of Jesus by the people who only want your relatives in Israel so they can all be smited by Jesus when he returns. In all sincerity: good luck. A Christian fascist government isn’t going to go any better for Jewish people here than it did in Europe. |
Oh yeah. You'll be super safe with a President who is calling anyone not American enough for his followers "vermin" who are "poisoning our blood." The "very fine people" from Charlottesville will certainly not feel like they have a foothold in America with that kind of rhetoric. |
Democrats digging their own graves! |
Take this up with Jared and friends. A lot of know there are much more important issues. |
Take what up with Jared? The fact that the GOP is an antisemitic (and islamophobic) cult? Assuming for the moment that that PP is, in fact, Jewish and a prior Democratic voter who is going to vote for Trump because she feels that the most lefty Democratic members of the House are antisemitic (despite shaky evidence, at best) and that the Democratic Party is insufficiently supportive of Israel, with the correlation being that her Israeli family members are not safe in Israel: in voting for a third party candidate, she will be making sure that her own physical safety here in the States is in question. As the other PP said - you think the guy who is talking about “exterminating” the “vermin” is going to keep you safe? You can throw away a vote on a third party candidate, but that’s essentially one more vote for the guy who literally kept Mein Kampf on his nightstand and his ex-wife reports it was the only book she saw him read. |
Ever considered taking your head out of the sand? Ever think of not being a moral coward? |
Keep congratulating yourself on your purity as the rest of the country sinks into a MAGA hell hole. Clearly you're above all this. |
Since that pp is obviously just trolling hard, let’s list the great reasons we’re voting for Biden. And I am positively voting for Biden vs voting against Trump. - the completely corrupt right wing members of the Supreme Court have shown that they do not respect the rule of law. They overturned fifty years of rights and precedent like it was nothing. What other rights will they gut if given the chance? I don’t want to give Donald Trump or any other Republican the ability to nominate more extremists. - abortion. Abortion, abortion, abortion. ABORTION. Women are humans. We deserve bodily autonomy. - Global warming. Republicans will not do anything to address global warming. Most of them deny it is real, and if they do acknowledge it, they claim it’s not a problem. I want my theoretical grandchildren to have a habitable planet to live on. - the whole notion of America. Our founders were not perfect (hello, slaveowners) but they were onto something with their ideas of the separation of church and state, not establishing a state religion, rule of law, honor and fidelity to one’s country… I think America is a pretty boss country. I want it to stay a liberal democracy. - decency. Biden is a thoroughly decent man. That matters to me (ironically, because my Trump-voting father raised me to value a person’s actions). |
Democrats have a vested interest in maintaining a two-party system because it guarantees their place at the table. This might be good for career politicians but it's not good for voters because, in the end, we don't really have a choice and democracy is just a joke. Every year we play the same stupid game of voting for the same people and the same party. Votes are now taken for granted because there's no viable third party. |
No, people like you keep voting for Republicans and then getting mad that the Democrats haven’t used their magic wand to fix everything. That’s on you and the rest of the reflexive Republican voters. |
