Rob Reiner: a vote for No Labels, Bobby Kennedy, Cornel West or Jill Stein is a vote for Trump

Good vote for the person you want. If you vote for a third party candidate, it is a vote for trump. Voter should understand that.

How is a vote for a non-D or Non-R candidate anymore a vote for Trump than it’s a vote for Biden?

Jill Stein, the Putin puppet, pulled enough votes from Clinton in 2016 to give those states to Trump.

This. Fools like Reiner need to do their own work of dealing with the problems of our society, not whine about those disappointed with the flush, psychopathic major party candidates.

<— This guy fascists, too. So many Republicans so hopeful that a new Nader Nader SandersStein will deliver them a GOP White House.

Well educate voters about how spoilers work. If they vote for the spoiler, at least they will understand the effect of their vote.

Voters should understand that no labels candidate or whoever, has no intention of actually winning or serving. They are intending to help trump win. Voters should be clear on that.

If people don’t understand math, they’re going to be susceptible to not understanding that, in a two party system, you can’t magically make a third party candidate happen. And as a (or a few) pps have said, none of these “third” (spoiler) parties ever put in the work at the grassroots. Why? Because there’s not really a need for a third party. There’s a need for the GOP to stop being a bunch of fascist glass bowls.

Why put in much work? The point is not to win. The point is to spoil.

Psst, the point is improving people’s lives. That your brains are stuck in this sports team paradigm (winning, team, stars, fandom, etc) is a lot of why your politics aren’t more popular.

Got any hate for the fools who couldn’t see what a crap candidate HRC was? Or what a crap president BHO was? If you really want to succeed, go big with your nastiness, that’s where the real opportunities are.

If the stein voters understand that their vote will have the effect of trump winning the state and they still choose her, good for them. Educate the voters about the effect of the third party candidate. There is nothing wrong with educated voters (unless it interferes with your con)

You’re a Republican. I’m done pretending that people like you are arguing in good faith when you are obviously not.

Let’s examine recent-ish history:
people who talked like you online convinced enough people that Al Gore (John Kerry, Hillary Clinton) wasn’t sufficiently liberal and that we would make no progress if we didn’t vote for Nader (Nader, Sanders/Stein). In return for those four spoiler candidates, the “progress” we made includes: 9/11 and the Patriot Act, the Afghanistan War, the Iraq War, no progress on global warming, a weakening of workers’ rights and greater wealth inequality, our government and country were nearly destroyed, we ended up with an activist right wing religious tribunal and women lost full citizenship.

With Biden we have been able to claw back some progress. But for all those Democratic voters who might want to vote for the spoiler, let’s point out that we will lose every scrap of progress and we will be plunged into a fascist dictatorship from which return isn’t guaranteed.

He's absolutely right. Everyone who does not want Trump to be president in 2024 must get behind Biden. Period. Full stop.

Trump was better than Biden.

This is basic civics. It’s shame it’s treated as news but I guess it is to too many people.

If Cornel West dropped out, his voters would either vote for another hopeless 3rd party candidate, sit out the election, or vote for Trump—in that order.

Under no circumstances would they ever EVER vote for Joe Biden.

Possibly true, but again. We have seen spoilers for about the last 25 years and they have had a terrible effect. What we have is flawed but just too precious to lose; we can’t take any votes for granted.

Which should you first educate yourself about: Biden’s (and establishment Dems) failures or XYZ minor candidates failures?

If you’re halfway intelligent, this is actually a very easy task.

And vote for genocide. You guys are crazy when you consider genocide and ethnic cleansing the "lesser of two evils". JFC

Biden is not the one that needs to play games with third party nonsense to win. Trump has no chance without this garbage

When has Bobby Kennedy improved any lives? He cheated on his wife so much that she killed herself, and kids have died from things like measles because of his loud public stupidity.

OK, no - I see a party that actually cares to govern vs the one trying to emulate Nazis.

This is the truth that is out there for all to see and if you don't care to see it, then may the heavens have mercy on your souls
