I believe in our party and what we've done over the years. But we've given extremists more of a say than we should. You're right though, that they do seem to get moderated at a national level. But locally (as you said) and even statewide, progressives are doing some batty things. So you're 100% right that we need to move out of MoCo. We probably will in a couple years when the kids graduate HS. But that frustrates me too. I believe most people in MoCo are normal liberals (like me), not Takoma Park progressives. Yet that's who we keep electing. How many people here actually think council member Kristin Mink has good ideas? 5%? 10%? How does a lunatic like that get elected?

Sure, that's title 7 which I mostly agree with. I even think bathrooms are OK and, in most instances, locker rooms are OK too. However, when it comes to sports which are played with bodies, identity has very little to do with it. As a liberal, I'm confident that the Supreme Court will do the science-backed, sensible thing and make sports sex separated, not identity separated.

Sure, that's title 7 which I mostly agree with. I even think bathrooms are OK and, in most instances, locker rooms are OK too. However, when it comes to sports which are played with bodies, identity has very little to do with it. As a liberal, I'm confident that the Supreme Court will do the science-backed, sensible thing and make sports sex separated, not identity separated.

They’ll also make abortion illegal nationwide and will make birth control illegal.
