Rob Reiner. An anti-establishment far left hippy in his youth is now lecturing today’s anti-establishment far left youth and promoting the establishment. What a joke. |
+1 The GOP can only cheat, sow despair and throw money at spoilers. They’re forced birth fascists who hate America. |
Most wokes would agree with you |
Can I ask where? I don't want to live near extremists on either side |
Dp- you get the first iteration when citizens don’t get involved. But guess what? Citizens did get involved! The administration had a period of public comment, and guess what else? They listened! Boom. Governing working for the people. Ya love to see it ! 😉 |
+2 The people that are actually going to the polls and voting are not rewarding the GOP. |
Yes, we covered that already. But how do we get things like the first iteration of Title IX changes which would have put males on girls sports teams? Insane leftists convinced regular liberal Dems to make that the first draft. It never should have gotten that far. That never should have seen the light of day. |
The Democratic establishment got Trump elected, everything else is noise. |
You get involved. You run for office. You support moderate democrats. We don’t have equal problems. There is a “squad” on the left which is like 4-6 members of the democratic caucus, and on the other side you have the freedom caucus, which has about 50 members. The squad doesn’t control the democratic side of the house. The freedom caucus is ascendant and has taken control of the republican house. The left fringe is not in charge, but they do have influence. That’s not always bad. The Overton window has shifted right, so we need some voices on the far left. Is there a bubble of group think in any administration? Sure. But the Biden White House has been very moderate. They’ve made some missteps and the first iteration of title 9 was one. But don’t you want a party that can listen? A party that can course correct? On the other side you have lawmakers that want to prevent interstate travel for pregnant women. The republicans have been trying to alter state constitutions so women can’t access healthcare. They’ve been trying to criminalize it, and when the voters tell them with their votes they do not want that, they double down. They ignore the will of the people. Also, get out of Montgomery county. You sound miserable living there. Arlington democrats made me crazy, so I moved! |
The Takoma Park Co-ops thanks you for your business. And I'm a liberal Democrat BTW. |
That's right. Trump is the legacy of Obama. |
And Hillary and Joe Biden and Bill Clinton and Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer and…you get the idea. That those names haven’t all received serious reconsideration after Trump speaks volumes about the actual interests of the Trump obsessed. That crew above got very rich while shrinking the Democrats margins, they need a critical eye applied to them if you really want to defeat Trump and similar forces. |
Nope. They were mostly imperfect but effective leaders. Republicans gave us Trump. Aided by 3 decades of right wing radio, Fox News, and other grifters. There will always be people who think they aren’t getting a fair deal, and there will always be snake oil salesman to convince them to hand over their money and votes. |
This is one of the loopiest things I’ve ever read on here, and that’s saying something. Does this seriously make sense to you? All the foolish GOP primary and general voters who actively voted for a traitor get a pass in the “nothing is ever our fault” party of cowards, I guess. |
Was he actually an anti-establishment far left hippie or did he just play one on TV? He’s a successful producer and director who had more money than God because of Seinfeld. |
