Another pit bull attack

Those Covid rescue dogs are just now becoming adults and that’s when the aggression starts.
When I see pits in the park the clueless owners always look so proud of themselves! They think they are the hipster extraordinaire.
And THEIR dog is the good one because … they chose it. Idiots.

Pitbulls specifically turned me from a volunteer with 10 years in rescue to a person who no longer believes in no kill shelters and won't ever volunteer for or donate to shelters again unless they clean up their pit problem. The kind of crap these shelters engage in to offload these dogs should get them sued and the pit lobby trying to convince people they're great family pets has blood on their hands. My experience with them says that while they can be sweet they're also enough of a danger to spay and neuter them out of existence.

They are ALL innocent until they kill someone. That isn't the issue. The issue is their propensity to KILL, not just bite.

they could start by requiring dna tests and saying that dogs w/ more than a certain threshold of the pit breeds bred for gameness not go to anyone with kids and require they only go to people with large fenced properties not near others. also parents who take one of the dogs known for attacking kids should be responsible legally if that dog attacks their kids and kills them. All dogs are not the same and stats for dog bites are very different than mauling and death
