Yes, all four are pit bulls. (Oh, excusez moi to the “there’s no such breed!”, one is a “purebred Staffordshire bull terrier,” aka a pit bull) https://bigislandnow.com/2023/08/05/hawaii-county-leaders-reaffirm-addressing-animal-control-problems-after-mauling-death-of-71-year-old/ It’s clearly a problem with the breed. When will a seemingly normal pit bull snap? Nobody knows. |
If this was true than we would have way more maulings. Pit bulls are just the latest dogs to be villified. |
No, they’re a danger. If we could magically add all the maulings of dogs and cats and horses and goats and all the bites that go unreported - you can see them on pro pit bull reddits, all the bites some of those owners rack up as they’re pursuing training and fixing their broken dogs - it still wouldn’t move you. |
I guess we are even and at a stand still then because you dont' believe there are any good dogs with pit bull in them. And I do. |

You’re not much for thinking, nor for honesty. There is no goddamned test to sort out the “good” from the bad, and the first bite of a pit mix is FAR MORE OFTEN THAN NOT, FAR OUT OF PROPORTION TO ALL OTHER BREEDS AND MIXES, maiming, disfiguring, or fatal. That is why pit mixes and the bastardized bully breeds should be euthanized tout de suite, so that alleged dog lovers like yourself can get a GS or Malinois or actual lab retriever (not the Glasgow smile-mouthed, buttcrack headed “lab mix” pit mommies claim to have) - there is absolutely no shortage of powerful, medium to large dogs in need of rescue without this propensity. Don’t take it from me - take it from a pediatric surgeon who works to repair the heartbreaking injuries these disgusting maul machines inflict. (Min 20). He’s actually done a comprehensive review of recorded injuries and your fave POS bite machines have inflicted disproportionate, often fatal harm, on the most vulnerable by an impressive degree. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=iFa8HOdegZA This second vid is of one of these abomination puppies biting off an infant’s fingers. I hate all of you pathetic pit moms. None of you get normal attention in life so you require validation from these demented pathetic dogs. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=TDix_Qhzyho |
| I agree, euthanize all pit bulls. |
I blame the mom who clearly was not feeding or taking care of either child or dog |
Well, you are not in charge so your words and desires are just that..empty words |
You seem weirdly obsessed with who is "in charge". Let me guess, you have multiple pit bulls and you fantasize about how tough they are and how they would maul other people to protect you? |
No I don't. I have one dog who is a mutt but, has some American pit bull terrier among other things. He is far from tough and lives with cats that he licks and plays with. When I meant "in charge" I am saying you have zero power to make anything happen. Feel better now? |

Deadly dog bites are on the rise in the last three years. Gee. Whatever could be the cause of this. |
Did you read the article? It doesn't blame the dogs or any specific breed but, the fault is on the humans who don't know how to read dog's clues. So, thanks for making my point! |
Well since we can’t ban idiots from existing, we can at least ban bully breeds so the idiots can’t get these dogs and hurt innocent people. At the very least there should be very strict rules for owning one (e.g. no dense areas, heavy fines for your dog escaping or being unleashed, insurance requirements, and limits on owning no more than 2 of these dogs). If you are a responsible owner, and your little pibble is so sweet and wouldn’t hurt a fly then all this should be fine with you. |
