Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS)
Life in prison is max sentence in MD for these crimes. |
|
The 17 YO defendant has now dispensed with his public defender and hired a high-profile criminal attorney.
Wonder how they are paying for this. |
Who is his attorney? Same firm as Jezic? (as an aside, my autocorrect keeps changing Jezic to Jesus. Maybe that anti-Christian poster is right).
|
I don’t think so. Just saw a story about it. Didn’t catch the attorney’s name. I’ll do a search and see if I can find it. |
At this point I think it's pretty obvious both attorneys are being paid by pro illegal immigration advocacy groups. In the interview I just saw, the attorney was complaining that the public focus of the case is the immigration status of the accused. Connect the dots. |
PP here. Yep. My question was more rhetorical than inquisitive. Hope the money is as well spent as that of the Clinton campaign. |
|
They BOTH have private counsel?
Conviction in these cases is VERY difficult to achieve. Many jurisdictions avoid bringing non-stranger cases. Do NOT assume a slam dunk conviction - a plea bargain downwards is typical. MD is NOT paying for private counsel, to correct a prior poster. A public defender had been provided for one. |
| The lawyer's round of local media may help create conditions for moving the trial. |
Change of venue to Baltimore city or county or PG is almost guaranteed at this point. The rest of the counties in MD except maybe also Howard and AA are too conservative for the defense. |
The father supposedly paying for the private lawyer... what does he do for a living? |

| School administration is hiding other incidents from parents |
| Now on FOX News.... |

Here is the interview with the attorneys hired by the family of Jose Montano, the 17 year old accused rapist.

Thank you. How hard is it to find out what the father does for a living? Just curious. |
