Think of the new version of "ambulance chaser" lawyers--hanging out in pharmacies lurking in the pregnancy test aisles to get potential people to monitor to potentially sue. This was the bargain they made so their clearly unconstitutional law can't be challenged in courts. Since the majority of the people in this country support a women's right to choose, they couldn't go for the it directly--instead they went for a workaround 'vigilante justice" approach. Nuts!!

Maybe. But the majority of women are going to be on their own (no one to aid and abet right?), in a tough personal situation. And there are going to be people who make a regular practice of this. I think these young women are going to be extremely vulnerable to being raped as well (I won't sue you if you ...). Empowering vigilantes to harass women--and there are people on this board that are ecstatic about this? I am truly sickened by the lack of any moral core.

Practically..this forces woman out if texas to get the help they need. This is aimed at the texas providers very effectively. Who is going to pursue sow one across state lines? That is absurd and if they did that they would get what was coming to them.

Exactly. I was raped + kidnapped at age 16 when I was a virgin. Thank God I rid not get pregnant, but if I had even my ultra Catholic mom would have wallowed me to get an abortion.

Seriously think about this issue before you choose a texas educational institution. I would absolutely advise avoiding this state to both my daughters and my sons.
