Anyone watching Mare of Easttown?

I’m starting to think I shouldn’t watch this show on Sunday nights. Last week I had a really hard time sleeping from the shock of it. Anyone else considering waiting until Monday night for the next episode? (I know I won’t actually wait...)

I usually wait until Monday night to watch. Sunday evening/nights are busy getting everything and everybody ready for the week. Monday nights I can relax a bit and enjoy a stressful show!

Sunday nights are super chill at my house. My kids are doing virtual school and I telework. It's no different than a Saturday night.

Was definitely not expecting that. It rattled me.

I literally screamed at the tv, it was so shocking.

Also I really want to go to that blue diner.

His Mom is just going to lose it. Zabel. So freaking sweet.

We watch on Monday night also because we can’t stay up that late, but it is hard not to see spoilers for 24 hours sometimes. The last episode we will probably watch on a Sunday, because otherwise I’m sure somebody will spoil it for us.

We started late and bunged the first three episodes. Our plan was to wait and then binge the last three together. But we quickly realized it would be impossible to avoid spoilers. Why do people suck?

I knew Zabel was going to die. I knew it when they were talking on the waterfront, but it was still crushing.

And yes, his mom is going to lose her shit.

It was a great episode, but so sad.

About potential clues:

The Siobhan documentary clips are a big clue. Especially the part where she said Kevin didn’t talk to her for a month before he died. And he wasn’t getting along with Carrie then. And “was he alone?”

Lor twitched oddly when she was telling Mare that she should step back from the case — when they were both sitting on the bench.

I didn’t think about the bottle DNA - good call — but I also thought at the time the bottle showed the cousin left unexpectedly.

Who did John cheat with?! The obvious guess is Faye. But not sure what that means for the durder murder.

I could see him trying to destroy paternity evidence. I think Mare will test the bottle (or something else) and discover the cousin is related to the baby but not the father. Still think it’s John.

They’ve never said who found Dylan, and the cousins were the only ones out there looking for Kenny. Had to be one of them and they probably saved him because they knew he was innocent.

Of course DNA evidence would say they are related. He is Erin’s cousin (as well as the baby’s cousin) regardless of whether he’s also the baby’s father.

How is it both? Unless you’re different posters...
