Anyone watching Mare of Easttown?

I'm still suspicious of the blonde priest, Mare's cousin.

I don’t think Mare’s cousin or the deacon had anything to do with Erin’s death. I think the shady uncle is the baby’s father and she was blackmailing him for the ear surgery money.

Shady uncle is the one who left the full beer?

Why can't I remember anyone's name???!?

The men all look the same and the brothers or cousins (?) weren’t introduced or developed as well as the main characters.

That’s the only one that would come totally out of left field since they seem so sweet and normal. Then again they raised a horrible human being of a child.

Nope, I can't suspect them. Before the last episode my DH (messing with me) tried to say it was Zabel. No.

I could see him trying to destroy paternity evidence. I think Mare will test the bottle (or something else) and discover the cousin is related to the baby but not the father. Still think it’s John.

They’ve never said who found Dylan, and the cousins were the only ones out there looking for Kenny. Had to be one of them and they probably saved him because they knew he was innocent.

But what is the killer's motive? Just to cover up the baby's paternity? That wouldn't even work if...the baby is still alive.

There could be any number of motives, depending on who did it.

Keep her from talking
Jealous wife
Grandparents want baby
Drunk bullies

I wonder why she was naked.

Actually a hoagie deficiency is what I believe is driving this community to violent acts.

I suspect Siobhan of being involved in some way.
And I suspect Mare's best friend's husband of being the father - because we know he is cheating now. That's fully established.

I’m not convinced he’s cheating. I feel like maybe he’s doing something else that’s shady.
