I wish I had a reason to even post. Not even a chance, for yet another year. Guess it is time to start looking at open houses in MoCo.

Give me your numbers--

Swami thanks you for this list and is surprised the StokesF list is "shorter" than the Lee list. Swami says post on the listserv and embed in the Brookland Burroughs community, but also don't be surprise when your MV8 list moves really really really close to doable. Keep a paper copy of your enrollment paperwork, because you might be surprised.

If Swami recalls correctly, and she usually does, Lee East couple only form a waitlist because they didn't have an official location until after the deadline. I'd assume if you have a top 50 number for Lee East (or however many seats they had), you will get an offer in the coming days.

Swami says you will get a Lee East offer tomorrow (see my other post), a TRY one by Memorial Day, and a Lee Brookland one by august 1st.

Swami says your 1st grader will pull your sibling into 1, 3, and 4, and to ignore the "we can't guarantee the sibling" chatter.

1) Latin

2) Basis

And that’s it. 5th grade. No preference, other than not wanting to move!

Swami thinks you need to make more friends.

Your kid will get into Basis, you'll take it, and your kid will have homework overload culture shock.

You also won't let him metro alone despite his best efforts to convince you.

#265 at Latin

#62 at Basis

Swami believes that sometimes good intentions can be rewarded, and yours will be. You'll freak out tomorrow when you only match at Height, but you will slowly come off of waitlist over the summer, with numbers ranging from 10-30. Your final destination will be MV8th, after getting offers from CMI, MV8 and Bruce Monroe.

We got in at Bruce Monroe!
