Funny how you are defending your team as it's being bashed, but then turn around and start bashing another. Hypocrite.

You really are promoting Cavalier over Evergreen? Both clubs belong in the same category of "terrible".

Your kid can play for either club and have a perfectly enjoyable lacrosse experience.

How is stating that Evergreen does not post the tournament schedule bashing the team?

If your kid just wants to run around and hang out with friends between games, then either program is fine.

If your son desires 5o get better, play against great competition or possibly desires to olay in college, hoth programs are comparable yo Top Caliber. In othrr words, a waste of time and money.

Most club lacrosse is a huge waste of money. It's more evident now than ever when Hoco has 5 divisions for each class. Does everyone get a trophy for participating as well?

It is only a poor choice of purchase if (a) you are not able to afford it (b) your son and your family do not enjoy it. I read many posts about money grabs and concerns of how others are spending money. Many activities cost far more than lacrosse. Baseball, hockey, volleyball, equestrian, personal training for basketball and football, soccer, you name it there are teams that cost more than playing for Cav and Evergreen. The waste is when the parents only do this because they think it will lead to a college offer. The kids on Cav's and Evergreen play because they have fun and parents enjoy watching them play.

Cavalier 2024 boys!!!! Pre Season ranked 16 in the World by Inside lacrosse.

They got their asses beat 9-2 in Hoco a couple of weeks ago. Sad!

Yes but they are playing AA division

Which makes it even more embarrassing. The 16th Best Team In The World is not even in the AAA or Elite division, and they are still being thrashed..

What is embarrassing is your post. Trashing a 7th grade mid level team is the best you can do? -sad. If you have a kid on a better team good for you. The CAV 2024 team and parents are fine. They did not lie to parents and promise a trip to Denver. No need to refund tickets. Kudos to being the only VA representative to even try to qualify. Cav teams used to get put down for playing weak teams and now they play tougher teams and do not win. Which is it? The 2024 team coaches are strong and the team is going to competitive events. I am sorry if your kid did not make Cavs or if you moved to another team and now watch your son sit on the bench.

2024 is daddyball. Kids who want to play attack won't even try out because they know the coach's sons have those positions locked up. On the other hand, knowing the 2024 coach, he probably yelled at his sons the whole time during the 90 minute drive home, so the boys paid for their privilege.

Great comeback. The other guy can't type on a phone. Meanwhile, you are paying money to have your son play on Cavalier for Shore Wars. Who is the bigger loser?

No one gets a trophy for participating. Hoco draws teams from far and wide and I would say from what I've seen from this season in A brackets and higher, it's good competition. Kids can throw/catch, run offenses, etc. Much Better than most rec play in Nova.

The 2024 team has one dad coach and one non dad coach. The non dad coach is outstanding. No issues at the attack position. I do not know who the bitter person is but to have such an issue with this team at this age, they must not be the parent of a player on a higher level team most likely left because they kids was not good enough to start. - sad

If someone's kid is on a higher level team (which considering we're talking about Cavalier, could be a LOT of different clubs), that kid could absolutely start for Cavalier 2024.

Have you seen that team?

Did this team get new coaches?
