You can spin it in whatever place you live, but men do care about a woman’s education. I know several men who would not date a woman unless she was educated. Looks do matter to everyone, but you can’t a woman with good looks and educated is desirable. You can only use looks to a certain extent. Most men even prefer someone smart and average instead of dumb and hot. It’s really deplorable a father would teach his daughters that their looks and what they can do for men is the only reason for their being.

Intelligent enough, educated enough women are a dime a dozen in this area. A graduate degree doesn't make a woman good relationship material. It doesn't hurt, but that goes on her resume for job interviews.

YES, but I don't women need to be all that attractive either. Just attractive enough. Tons of overweight women in this area are married and in good relationships. With your theory, shouldn't they be divorced. Weight gain may be a deal breaker for you, but obviously it's not for many other men.

Just because a man might not divorce his now overweight (but thin while dating) wife does not mean her weight gain isn’t a dealbreaker. My wife gained 40+ Pounds and I have zero attraction to her, but divorce is such a hassle! Instead, My attention has shifted to some other lady friends who, guess what, are still thin and attractive. My wife’s education is irrelevant to this equation, but just FYI she’s got her masters.

You do realize not everyone is you, right? I feel so sorry for your wife. She married a man who took vows to love her, and he can't see past her middle aged weight gain.

Everyone secretly compares! If you're miserable in your marriage you are envious. If you are happy you are thankful.

I do love her. I'm just not attracted to her. You should feel sorry for me because I've never been attracted to overweight women, never dated one.
You do realize that not everyone has "middle aged weight gain" only those who eat alot and don't care about remaining attractive for their partner.

Being fat is unattractive and to an extent a choice. Do you want him to stay or go?

So are saggy balls, bald heads, and backs full of hair. Should everyone divorce when their spouse doesn't look like what they married? While you believe weight gain is a choice, it is difficult to loss weight. Look at all heavy people around here and the average size woman is a size 14.

And look at people outside this country who, on average, less resemble the People of Walmart than we do in this country. Look at people in this country who choose not to be obese, by caring what they eat and what they do. Give a crap what you look like.

"Saggy balls"? Who looks at them? And you're comparing baldness to obesity? My lack of hair is more comparable to your A cups than your excessive 60lb.

Gotta love all the fat cows trying to argue everyone into thinking their not gross.

Gotta love all the bitter men complaining about heavier women. Look around - they are the new normal.
